Id honestly love to see him with a youtube channel, but hes more serious about the work as opposed to filming. I can tell he dont mind being on camera, but to get him to be his own channel hes like na i build them you film them.

I wouldn't have believed it myself if someone told me they were daily driving a 1k plus hp filled block lmao. What a crazy F'er lol best kind of people. Just one pull up to 120 and my trucks are pushing 210 plus.

@@LMDiesel sorry man 210 degrees on coolant 😂. My 04 is around 650 my 05 850-900. Just saying it starts getting hot so it's wild a filled block can run like that.

Shifting locked is hard on every thing. I lock once in the gear I want. Always unlock before shifting to next gear. If you are racing and you shift locked it could kick you sideways. Boost really likes unlocked. You dump the boost into the power when you lock it that's why it feels like a rocket. When you sit in traffic a while the temp can get hot. Put in neutral while at lights to manage temps. To get temps down try to get in situations where you can stay locked for a bit. Unlocked works the fluid. You almost never need 1st unless at a dead stop. Once you understand how it works its gravy. If you want the trans to last you follow these habits.

@@charlesphilips2920 You don't want to shift in the neutral if you're trying to heat the transmission up. The drag of the torque converter is what works the fluid and if it's a neutral you have less drag. That's exact opposite of what I just set above in the comment you replied to. When you're trying to keep the transmission cool because it's running hot. You put it in neutral in a red light, not the other way around.

yea sorry i did not think the cummins trans pump spins in park i get the converter heats and keeping trans temps in check are important most people dont check there bands or rebuild them im going to do a few soon i have a question would you keep a non lockup 518 behind a cummins or do a mild build billet shaft 47re/rh full manual valvebody i just think the converter eats power makes heat so ill get a nice billet unit one guy had a higher stall for big turbos but the first gens only around 450 unless i fuel it or spray and i might because i love the truck gets alot of attention 92w250 anyway thanks Benton

OH AND IV SEEN ALOT OF TWISTED SPLINES FROM 650 up hp billet shafts being beat on you have to know what your doing and what not to do or beat on overdrive i have redline trans fluid its almost 100nucks a gallon but trans is almost 10 times that and i want to have full race 48 not sure about transbraking a diesel i know logan makes dump valve but i dont know a 47 and a powerglide stock case for a ls swap coming then comes the battle of if a nice th400 is better than dodges 48 gutted lighter race diesel but i know and am willing to use the lift to pull for new bands and clutches just hope everything else is ok but thats still way more than the avg guy trans shop would just rip you off
