I drank Psychedelic Shroom Tea to improve my mental health.

Hey guys,
This video is a special one to me!
Mind-altering substances are not something I talk about lightly. I've felt compelled to share about this experience because psychedelic truffles have played such a significant role in my mental health journey. They've helped me overcome a lot of anxiety that may have otherwise taken decades to work through.
The point of this video is to share my personal experience with psychedelic truffle tea and to create space to talk about these things (which are still largely stigmatized or taboo since they're not legally available in many places).
If we zoom out, the research is really promising and we see that many countries are looking to legalize psychedelics in a clinical / therapeutic setting. That's big!
But for now, you can come "microdose" with me on the countryside outside of Amsterdam and see what it's like to drink a magic truffle tea full of psilocybin. :)
Hope you enjoy! x

This was such a pleasure to watch. This is my favorite video of yours so far. As your sister, I feel like I got to see your true (as you put it, ten-year-old) personality, and it reminded me a lot of myself too. You’re a beautiful person, and simple things like your love of cabbage and blackberries and how you see and talk about your own mind, are so wholesome and lovely. I felt like I was there having a chill psychedelic day with you. It honestly made me want a whole video series of someone taking psychedelics, going on walks, and sharing their musings. It’s so peaceful and nice.

In my late teens & 20s my friends and I would do shrooms, Isd, and ecstasy occasionally. Good times! All were positive, fun, spiritual experiences. But, it's been decades. I don't know anyone who knows anyone who can get psychedelics from. I live in LA & there's a Kush store three blocks from my house, but I can't function alone on weed. I wish they sold psilocybin gummies. I'm a little depressed & a little anxious on a regular basis. I'm not a big drinker and I hate taking pills. A bite or two of a chocolate bar, or a cup of mushroom tea everyday would be a godsent for me.

Your experience with psychedelics is most resonant with my experience-as in, the experience you had (with the stupor, openness, presencing, and threads of thought) is very similar to the ones I have as well. I also really only do psychedelics when I feel called to have a reset of my nervous system and overworked mind. I also do the whole “bio-hacking” thingy-which means that I do the best practices for being healthy (mediation, breathing exercises like wim hof and head heart coherence, fasting, sprouts, anti nutrients, plant-based (more for ethical reasons 🌱), sleep with Oura ring because what’s the point of sleeping if you can’t track it (?), cold plunging, etc etc. it’s great to see more people out there reporting their experiences with the same lifestyle practices that have kept me happy, healthy, thriving, and sanguine throughout this journey! It warms my heart to know and see that there are people like that out there! In any case, I really do agree with you in the way you described how one can achieve similar stages of peak-state consciousness via mediation, fasting and breathwork. While that is true to an extend, there is certainly more of a impact or potency to the mind and body when consuming entheogens or psychedelics. That experience is almost impossible to match without the collaboration of these other plant medicine, and there is qualitative difference between the two with different degrees of impact. This is to say that for me, cycling the macro trips (once a year, or twice a year) is definitely a supplement, if not core to my current health and wellness lifestyle practices. I think it was Terence McKenna who said the whole thing about hanging up the phone once you received the message-I think that’s only partially true. If you have experiences with integrating plant medicine as part of your lifestyle, we know that these plant medicine really help us heal at a mental, physical, and spiritual (soul) level. It’s something that we learn to integrate, not something we use as a sort of novel experience that helps us become more creative. Anyways-sorry for ranting on this thread!! Glad to have found your videos-greetings from Long Beach, CA!!’ ✨✨✨ 🏝️ 🌅 Wishing you health, peace, And prosperity !! 🙏🏽

It is cool to see someone both aware that they are fragile and actively trying to do things in efforts to not be so fragile. The worst is seeing fragile people suffer even more because they are not self aware and or do nothing to try to be well. Good fortune to youin your efforts to get better.

I'm 77 years old and never did pot, or anything mind altering until about a year and a half ago. My wife had been in chronic pain for six years and I was willing to try anything to help her. I researched psilocybin mushrooms, bought the medium, the culture, and tried growing a batch. Raging success. So I tried an unknow dose to see if it was safe for her. That trip was the most amazing experience of my life. Best light show on earth, super horrible stomach cramps, and the most relaxed afterwards I can remember. Having made sure they were safe, recommended to my wife. Today she microdoses about once a week. I microdose about once a month. I have also grown five more batches and we have enough material now for a year or two. These are not approved in the US, so be prepared to not talk about them here. Growing your own is NOT illegal, possessing them or selling the finished product is, so STFU about the best trip you will ever encounter. BIG side effect: We are calmer, kinder, more grateful, and more at ease with the world and getting more so everyday. Thank you for your videos, you are a delightful addition to our lives. By the way, they have also helped reduce her pain by making her more relaxed.

I am not sure why this video showed up in my feed however its good to see you had a good adventure would say trip but that is pun I guess. Seems like a comfortable environment to experiment. Most times I have seen recreational drug use it has been in more social settings with people, or music etc.. It is nice you can enjoy nature and be at peace in nature, and to attune to your experiences. I almost sensed there was almost NLP like self suggestion in your speech programs and that you were able to express yourself. Hopefully things are well with you still thanks for sharing part of your life. Also should add I really enjoy wild foraging, and as a result have encountered psychedelic and medicinal mushrooms before as well as other issues. I do think mushrooms can be a very healing thing and with compounds you can't get anywhere else in nature. Potency and dose can vary from mushroom to mushroom. The take away is that they really excel at allowing you to have more presence in your experience and aspects and frames of reference than you may not normally experience. It is a little mysterious why we experience life the way we do.

Not a big deal, but I'm wondering if the hot water interrupts the dephosphorylation process in the lemon juice? Just to confirm, this mimics what occurs in your tummy via hydrochloric acid (same PH value), turning psilocybin into psilocin, the actual active ingredient. This pre-digestion (colloquially, LemonTek) eliminates tummy nausea for sensitive types (not caused by chitin imo). A 1/2 hour steep is recommended. Onset and letdown are much faster. Some say makes it stronger but idk abt that. Tea works, but I like to strain, add simple syrup and make psychedelic lemonade. Tastes great!

It adds noise to the system. This helps join up things that were too far apart before, and loosen up habits/certainties of personality enough to let some more light in. On the subject of distance, between you and you performing, it also increases the distance between you and your thoughts, you get to see them as their own thing, not you, and you see their optionality. You literally get a short holiday from yourself. They say, wherever you go, there you are. True of daily life, but not with this trip

I've traveled to Amsterdam, 1 year ago, to have my first experience with magic mushrooms (truffles), and I did it with a guide. As far as I know 10 g truffles = 1 g of magic mushrooms, so for my trip the guide used 35g of truffles and added 5g, after 30 minutes, all this was in form of tea. It turns out I have a high tolerance, because even though my halucinations were strong, everything was moving in my filed vision, the trip lasted for only 3 hours, with no ego death and I felt like I couldn't reach the next level. My motivation was the same as yours, mental health, namely depression, but it didn't work... I'm saying all of this because I find the dose you are using quite small, so after that trip didn't do much for me, I didn't give up and ordered a growing kit, so I grew some mushrooms all on my own. I think I got about 300g, in total, from that kit, I dried them to about 10%, of their raw weight so I was left with about 30g dried mushrooms. I took 2.6g and barely felt some tingling, from them, so I decides to wait 2 weeks and take more, 4,7g. Welp, I lemon teked them aaaand I had a bad trip... it seems like there is a difference, between the truffles and the mushrooms, because visually the halucinations weren't so intense, I did have them about 2 hours into the trip, and at that mark it all went of the rails: I started sweating intensely, panicking, never felt anything like that in my whole life, I felt like I was dying?! Luckily I had someone with me and also my exeperience with meditation helped me, because I managed to bring myself down, by realizing it was all in my head. The strange part is I didn't see anything bad, it was just an omnious feeling like something bad was going to happen. I dunno why I wrote this message, I guess it bugs me they don't work for me, and also that I don't have easy access to truffles, perhaps I felt better on them, I did have some great halucinations, while listening to Tool with my eyes closed... anyway, maybe I'm just a cautionarly tale...

If there is anyone out there in the US that can help direct someone, like myself, to a high quality distributor, I’d really appreciate it. I’ve been in therapy for ptsd and Ive been researching this for quite some time. Truly educating myself. It is unfortunate that I can’t access it.

Welcome to the United States. A few states (Colorado? Oregon?) and Canada have made mushrooms legal-to-fake-legal, so if you're ever physically present in any of them (but hopefully not required to be a resident?), you could buy from a legal source there. Unfortunately given the highly adulterated state of the country, I don't have a clue how safe it is any more to acquire these otherwise. I'm guessing that it's generally perfectly fine if you personally know who you're dealing with. Ari Shaffir's guidance is/was to find them through your sketchiest friend, which likely comes with its own set of challenges. Welcome to authoritarian rule. Don't forget to vote... for a non-pharma party.

I've found its 10000x easier to put the shredded mushrooms in a shot glass with fresh OJ or lemon juice, let it sit for 30-60min, and then drink it all with a better tasting drink to wash it down. That's alongside therapy, prescription meds, and while in a place where personal use is legal

Yes. Not a huge fan of major doses. Less predictable and they end up really eating up an entire day. Whereas with smaller doses, you can still live life normally on your own; I just like to not have any expectations for the day.
