As a medical professional I hate this trend of "drink more water". Drinking a gallon a day is not healthy. It puts unhealthy pressure on your heart and your kidneys. You'll be completely fine with half a gallon, you only need more during exercise or in hot climates.

YES! I was looking for this comment. Every renal physician I know always says that you only need to drink when you're thirsty. I'll trust them over lifestyle gurus. (No shade to Taz though, just people who pretend to be qualified to share medical advice on SM when they're 17)

I usually drink upto 3 litres per day but still I get advices from physicians to drink more. Why is that so? Is it because I live in highly humid tropical country? Still I think half a gallon is not enough for any place

@@PY-jp6ui I don't really know the exact number of how much a gallon is, but for the climate i live in, the temperate climate, 2-2,5 liters is absolutely enough. In warmer climates you should drink more, but the general rule is drink when you're thirsty. If you exercise a lot or live in a hot climate, you need more water because you sweat a lot of it out. The body tells you when it needs something. You can also look at your pee, if it's yellow you need to drink more. That's the easiest way to know.

Yea ikr...even i saw some vlogs like these where they all recommend to drink more and more water...but nobody really tells that how much and how do u need to drink it...so i was just following them and drank water every single minute...my mum noticed and she told me that it's not healthy to drink water every minute...drink only when u feel thirsty and drink as much as u can one time when thirsty....drinking more doesn't mean drinking a lot of water all day...but when u r thirsty try to drink as much as u can.

I am not even watching this video but I was checking the comments to see this cause it was in my recommended but if you drink that much water you need to balance it with minerals not just intake for the sake of intake seems incredibly dumb to set an amount instead of just listening to your body.

i always try to respect others opinions, but i do believe that the whole “*insert youtuber* is changing” is such a negative mentality. change is a part of life. people change and sometimes it’s for worst and sometimes it’s for the better but just because someone is it a better place now doesn’t make it a bad thing. you can’t expect people to stay in the exact same place forever. evolving is a part of life, it’s (literally) how we grow! don’t make you tubers or people in general feel bad for changing or for bettering themselves :)

You have to be careful though because cold rice is very toxic and is the thing that most people in the uk get food poisoning from, so you have to make sure you get a rice that is not going to poison you when cold. 😊

I’m 11... turned this May. I started watching her in 4th grade when I was 10.

'Be my own best friend' i actually love that! I have been working on self improvement and challenging my mindset a lot and that just defines the difference needed so well!!!

Taz should do a challenge, where she eats foods that begin with the letter that matches her day. So on Monday she would eat stuff like meatballs on tuesday, Tofu etc etc TO BE CLEAR, ON MONDAY SHE EATS FOODS BEGINNING WITH M, TUESDAY SHE EATS FOODS BEGINNING WITH T etc etc

Hey Taz. I never write on any comments. I've watched you for a while now and everytime I see a new video I get excited and save them for when I'm on my break or lunch at work. I'm so glad everybody gives you so much love. You're so amazing and if I ever see you I'm sorry I'd probably annoy you for a photo. 😭😭 I don't mind if this isnt read out, just hope you get to read it. Watching your videos lightens up my day so much, especially when I'm having such a bad day. Thank you Taz. 🥰🥰

I love you taz i wish you to be the happiest you can be while this quarantine... this year has really been tough but yah im validictorian i just had my birthday and i was invited to one of the best school in my country but im just disappointed cause like our retreat was canceled and when the day i was told i was validictorian it was bitter sweet cause yeah im happy cause i got 1st but that means my school isnt having an actual graduation... and i was and still is pretty sad cause i havent yet said a final goodbye to my close friends cause some of them are moving and its really just been a really bad start to the year..

Okay here goes, hi Taz I’ve struggled with mental health for a while and the reason I love your channel so much is because your so real, like even once your channel started growing you’ve never tried to have that “perfect “ lifestyle and it makes me feel like I’m normal, and I love that u talk about your issues and give such great advice, it just helps me so much. Anyways I love you so much and I hope your doing good, just had to let that out there!❤️❤️

I struggle a lot to come offline and just focus on myself as I feel that I am missing out on the world and I owe everybody a reply and should be talking to people all the time to be important or matter. And I know that may sound silly but I really struggle to just be on my own and be happy with that. I use my phone and the internet and talking to people as a crutch to not be lonely as I feel like I amount to nothing and mean nothing if I don’t. Does any of this make sense? I’m trying to get what’s in my brain out and it is proving rather difficult. Anyway, I’ve been an avid watcher of yours for a while now Taz and seeing you take care of yourself better has really spurred me on to do the same. I do matter and I will try.
