Right! Like I watched this show and I currently watch it. But he always seems a little bit insulted in the beginning that she's scared of him. Like HELLO. To be fair, in case you don't watch the current episodes, they actually talk about it a lot and how what he did was not okay etc

@@TheCollectorsSin I've finished season 2...and eagerly waiting for season 3...but still whenever I come back to watch the old episodes of season 1, Baran's attitude towards Dilan broke my heart!!! Specially first one, he dragged her on ground ...2nd , he took her as punishment in their summer house..left her all alone in a deserted place... Even whenever Azade tortured Dilan, Baran just said she's my wife, but didn't take an action, or punished Azade, for throwing cold water on Dilan or tried to buried her or Burned Dilan's bag/hand.... No punishment for his dearest Grandmother.... Even when Dilan was completely blameless, every single person tortured her, be it Cihan/Azade/Baran/Deriya/Hasan/Firat....each and everyone tortured her not only Physically but also Emotionally and verbally.... Dilan endured that all kind of torture.... Not only this, Baran accused her doing some nasty things with Metin teacher, without knowing, without listening he questioned her character.... In these very first episodes of season 1, Baran used to seem like a poisonous person to me...but after episode 100 he treated Dilan softly, thn again aftr episode 168, in season 2, his attitude towards Dilan was heartwarming.... But the violence of Baran still boils my head.... Whenever he get angry he pulls Dilan by her arm, shakes her these things boils my blood....Let's see what happens in Season 3.....

@@ishikabinteshafiq8377 ok I didn't wanna spoil anything if you were not watching the new ones. I agree his attitude was bad at the beginning,after THE MEGA mistake with the dads wheelchair he learned a huge lesson from that, but still made mistakes ie Metin. I think both characters have evolved naturally as they've aged when you consider he's only supposed to be like 25-26 at the beginning of the series and her slightly younger. I'm just flabbergasted at where we are going in S3 tho. I LOVED Gul and Firat, Ive enjoyed watching them grow as well. I'm not looking forward to a 5 year time jump where they are both reliving their parents nightmares and have 0 support system. They are also moving to Mardin. I was really hoping it was all rumors but Kanal 7 has said the same things. She wouldn't have another kid imo and she wouldn't feel that Miran was dead which I think would drive a huge wedge between them. I don't wanna be sad every freaking day.

@@ishikabinteshafiq8377 also everyone's fear is that Miran would be given to crappy people like Dilan was. What if this woman gave him to kind loving people? They eventually find this 5-6 year old and rip him away from the only parents he's ever known. That would be so much worse. Ugh I can't even bear the thought of it.

Baran have a very forceful presence and very wonderful personality but he’s also a great actor in every episode. His performance is amazing and his acting is amazing the way he portrayed Baran is very outstanding in every way. His voice his personality outstanding and how he portrayed love and romance is beyond belief. He’s a wonderful man and he deserves the best in everything. I t’s so cool how crazy their chemistry is and it’s amazing to watch how it’s coming to life in every episode. Baran and Dilan are the best actors of our generation and it’s a great story they portray in their acting careers. Best wishes to you both

Poor Dilan, she's suffered so much in that house that every time Baran comes near her she must be fearful of what hell he's going to unleash on her😢

Baran was abusive to Dilan. See how scared she is of him? I'm invested in the series, but I still wonder why she didn't leave him early on... then I remind myself this is a fairy tale imagining, and she's not real. Also, I like tehis couple, but Turkish series should really know when to stop. Every season ends in trauma and separation. Why not a happy ending? Are Turkish film makers allergic to happiness?

Actually she left when he set her free, but her "mother" the old grumpy selfish xxxxx slapped her and told her she had no place in their home and restaurant. So she went to his mother's grave and that's where he found her and brought her back to his mansion...

I know all of this because I watched the show, and he was right to bring her home in that situation. But I still think when he had arranged for her education abroad after the whole Metin fiasco, she should have left him. But alas... if she had done the common sense thing, we wouldn't have this beautiful story, or see protective Baran and his spoiled wife Dilan, and see sweet Miran at the end. So it's all good. But when I think back to those first 40 episodes, my mind goes a lil crazy. He was like an abuser and I'm now supporting and loving their romance. 🤯

I have similar thoughts like you . They could have shown Dilan coming back after her studies and falling in love with Baran .
