We technically have a handful of teams or whatever, but while top teams are simply not profitable, bottom teams are essentially Riot funded, and there's virtually no real competition most years. The thing is if he goes back to Korea right now he'll start playing up to par, the problem lies in NA's environment which has very poor work ethic and passion driven to win. Players loosen up and play the game for fun for the most part when they go to NA. There's a reason it's called the retirement home.

And let’s not even mention the amount of smites he missed in that finals. Pyosik has always been an incredibly inconsistent player with decent highs and incredibly low lows
