My husband was abused physically and had cancer as a child, when i met him he stuttered so bad he could barely state his name. Today he speaks clearly, is cancer free, and a great father to both our children. The victory belongs to Jesus!!

Her story sounds alot like mine.. especially her childhood, (not a hard one but not necessarily a pleasant one). I've early on decided I didn't want kids, I felt they were to difficult to handle..but long to reach out to hold everyone of them I perceive is hurting..anyway my heart always warms when I hear the word India. I knew a friend from India in Job Corps and her purity impressed me and made me feel like I wasn't the only one alone living in purity in that area, we had a endearing connection, but funny as well, 😄. I will always remember her.♥️

My husband had dreams about me some years before he even met me and when he asked God if I was the woman in his dream God had him dream about me again and then he knew that I was who God wanted him to be with. It might take some time but remember God always fulfills his promises. Abraham and Sarah had to wait for a long time before they had Issac....it was a long wait but the promise was fulfilled. Just focus on The Lord and pray over your future marriage and speak blessings on your future marriage and family while your waiting. There is a song that goes like this "While I'm waiting. I will serve you. While I'm waiting, I will worship........... I'll be running the race, even while I wait."

This is so beautiful and comforting 💖 I am "letting God chose my husband" too and believe He's given direction especially for meeting him this year - Gen 24 was highlighted to me too... and that I will likely be moving. I have to comment, I discern that He asked specifically not bcuz he had the confidence that GOD will do for him (husband) it was of a doubt asking for impossible. What a testimony. What he meant in doubt, GOD meant in sincerity. Thank you for sharing

I was thinking the same. And I wanted to comment on it but you did it. They are a God fearing couple. When God gives you your rib, He makes wonderful miracles happen once you are obedient to His calling. Many times we miss it because we want things to happen in our own time but His timing is perfect. I can testify all that she is saying. I prayed abut mission in 2016. He lead me to places that I have never imaged going. My faith grew and build through these short term mission trips. I have been praying for marriage, but most importantly it is to serve the Lord and love God first. Anyone waiting, please lean and press in Lord. I was told that God has the best for me. I will hold on to that, don't settle for people closed to your desire. God's plan for your marriage is more than you can ever think of. Believe and be faithful like Jesus. God bless you all.

I’d have to be a witness to what you’re saying, my sister, I have been married three times trying to help God do his job. The Lord promised me now that I’m living for him. He gave me the name of my husband and to wait so that I would not, make the same mistakes I have done before. He told me that he would be not the kind of man that I was used to. But that he’s trying to get me ready to be ready for this new life so that when a man would appear to be interested in talking to me if his name wasn’t what it was, I knew it was not the one he is now my husband. When we say we are the bride of Christ, do we know what that really means you are marrying God. everyone is not going to prepare themselves to meet the bride groom, and I was working one day and the older girl said to me, “do you want to be my bride? I heard your husband’s testimony last week and now hearing yours. I was in tears both times for completely different reasons 🤍 thank you for your words of encouragement! I feel a calling in my heart but serving him where I am planted. Maybe my children will get to live out my heart’s desires for ministry. God is good in all His ways!!

I feel the same way. We must believe we have a purpose even when we cannot see it. I have c PTSD and it's a real thing This women is a product of a loving home. We didn't have that but whatever we do Jesus is directing us too . I honestly think we will be pleasantly surprised in heaven as we believe on Him .

Jesus, I also want to serve you, but when and how begin I don't know; when are you really going to make totally yours? God, please help me to think the way you want me to think. Amen.

If possible, you could also spend some times with Monica and Jesupadam, her husband in there orphanages directly in India. That can help many orphan children so much. And for you, this can become a huge life experience. Children will be very thankfull. If you feel like praying for UNIFICATION of all christians, then find out more under: TRUE LIFE IN GOD in Internet. Jesus wants to see all different churches in one Church and NOT devided, as it is now. JESUS surfers under our devisions so much. We shall never teach our children, that desision is from JESUS. ALL THE BEST AND GOD BLESS YOU

Our purpose is to love!! To love Him and to love others, including ourselves. We will see hard times, most of us nothing compared to Jesus's walk on this earth, NONE of us compared to what He carried on the Cross. But we can find hope and joy throug a daily relationship with Father God. He longs to be our friend, father and leader. Cry out to Him, look for Him, believe and obey Him. The burden due to lonileness part I really needed to hear... I do feel the lonileness with that unworthiness feeling as well (being a college student and a christian truly isn't easy)... Considering most of those who say are christians actually are more progressive than followers of Jesus and his teachings... It's really hard but thank God He keeps us going...
