Programmer is a genius convincing the gambler to focus on the "patterns" as a secondary visual. Keeps them playing with an expectation of "jackpotting". The gamblers ability to understand the patterns gives them a false sense of confidence. Casinos love this.

Yes and No!! It may give a false sense, but you can’t win the prize without the pattern. So yes it may not be 100%, it still works for the player.

@@midnightrider2342 Like I said, you know the patterns, you’ll know what is coming. Small Diamond pays 2-25x your bet, Cross Corners pays 10-300x your bet, etc. Maybe is not an edge, but the knowledge is useful and useable.
