Czech Brother, one lady mentioned something very important, That pedestrian road @14:29 is heading to Baragwanath Hospital, the biggest hospital in Africa, that hospital is like a village inside, you can walk around in that hospital till you get tired, there're many streets in that hospital, street names represents the clinic that you're approaching in that street, I don't believe the security will allow people to take videos around the hospital, I believe the security of the patients comes first🙏🙏

One thing I've realized from your videos is people around the world are basically doing the same thing; working, walking, going about their daily lives and not paying attention to anything else. Chez goes out of his way to let people know he's from America but they could care less.

Paul must have came to Soweto not long ago. He's a nice guy but truth be told he did not do a good job of taking you around. I am not a Sowetan but I know the basics. After realizing that he doesn't even know Vilakazi street my jaw dropped. Soweto has so many attractions which he could've taken you to but did not. He doesn't have to know everything but the basics. You definitely need to go back to Soweto. I'm a Pretorian but this video does not do justice to Soweto. You could've learned so much from some of those guys outside Hector Peterson Museum.

Just a few corrections though, Soweto is not a city ,it is like a surbub of greater Johannesburg .SOWETO stands for South Western Townships . Nelson Mandela was born and raised in a Village of Qunu eastern cape about 600 miles south of Johanesburg . He came to the city as an adult where he later studied and practised law before getting involved in Politics which subsequently resulted in his arrest and long term imprisonment.

Czech In Effect and Paul, the host, explore Soweto with an in depth walking expedition. What the camera reveals is lots of enterprise and markets, hood, community, and folks making lemonade from lemons. Czech elucidated how President Mandela grew up there and where civil rights of apartheid emanated. I immensely enjoyed reading Mandela's in depth memoir: "Long Walk Home" where he described his love for boxing and education becoming a lawyer. Additionally- I enjoyed listening to the Soweto Gospel choir who voices are melodic, splendid, and heavenly. Czech In Effect is very street smart and he employs his street sensibility well.

Paul should have taken you all around even alex.... i thought you would make it to braamfontein and probably put you on metro train or something... just to experience what its like to be from soweto..... the fact that he didn't know what to do with you was a bummer! but nice content.... i just subscribed to your channel seems interesting.

The guy you were walking with does not know Soweto very well, When you were at Hector Peterson museum He should have told you who Hector Peterson was and why was the museum named after him. And you were close to Mandela and Bishop Tutu and you spent a lot of your visit on insignificant places. Soweto has a lot to offer and that guy was also like a tourist I do not think He is the Sowetan.

no its actually the other way around. The foreigners who had a hard time getting jobs in NYC the late 80s started the livery vans $1 vans to make money like they do back home Nigerians started that from Lorys you see in Lagos - I think the Jamaicans run it now more in Brooklyn and Queens

Correction abt Nelson Mandels he was raised in Qumbu, Eastern Cape. When he came to live in Joburg he came to practice law. He actually had a law firm with Walter Sisulu and the rest thereafter happened. The young man who is showing around he is literally clueless, he just leaves you to say incorrect info😮 but at least you havd seen a bit.
