Bro, I made the same mistake as you. After Rapid Slash, you have to delay the Yamato combo ever so slightly for the enemy to stay in the middle and for the clone to actually do damage. Just trying to help a fellow Vergil player out with the combo. Hope you have a great rest of your day

Taunts are random but the one in the combo u can use by holding the taunt button

There's an option in player settings that let you get full bar
