This last summer was my worst ever for snagging trotlines (3), about 20 abandoned jugs, and 2 complete fishing poles with a live catfish still on both of them (released), and 2 old reels of microfiche tape. Wheeler Reservoir, Triana area.

Mr Dave I’ve watched several people on KZread on one thing or another, but I’ve not seen someone who deserves 100,000 subscribers more than you. Your content is great and knowledge on catfish is second to no one that I’m aware of. It seems that once you past this hurdle the next 100,000 will be a piece of cake. As I’ve said before you keep on fishing and putting out videos I’ll continue to watch and enjoy

When I’m at the lake of the Ozark in MO. The fishing piers where we fish from shore have old trout line that people leave and don’t clean up before they leave I cut the lines and put them in the trash. The old lines sometime get in the way of crappies fishing on the piers where I fish from the piers. Sad that they don’t clean up.

I wonder if that was some commercial fishing trout line setup that got away from someone. Taking tons of fish out of the river, possibly illegally at that? You did us all a favor by pulling that "stuff" out of the river, imagine the people fishing that would get hung up on that line. Thanks Dave, your the catfishing man!
