My Dad grew up in the Myrtle Beach area. He always seemed to miss that area of America.

Another great video Ron. You need to move a little more North to the OBX. I would suggest spring or early fall. You will definitely be able to catch redfish and a good shot at a giant blue fish. Love the content, keep it coming.

@@CameramanRon you can't go wrong with the places that Matthew went to. You could do a week's camping on Ocracoke Island or there are plenty of places to fish between Corolla and Hatteras the southern beaches around Moorhead and Emerald Isle are also really good fishing. You will definitely feel at home on the OBX. Looking forward to the next video keep up the great work.

I’ve never had any luck fishing there. Maybe it was the time of year I had went down there. But we are headed back the May . Hopefully will catch something.

I was fishing a couple hundred yards down the beach from there a week ago! Good times

What was your setup. When I fish in the West coast I catch crabs. I have to keep my bait off the floor of the ocean. Do you worry about crabs biting the bait.

the ankle biters got so much fight in them even after out of the water, the song will always play in my head when i reel em in, wish you could make the extra trip to the OBX, but i understand work comes first!

maybe it's just me, but when I know I'm going to release a fish I try not to drag it through the sand or even handle it if I can avoid it. Grab the pliers, twist the hook and drop it into the water.
