Greetings from Ho Chi Minh!! Haha I love shopping after midnight so much. Less people, I can stand in the aisle with my trolley blocking the way😂 I can spend time reading the nutrition information without people asking me to move away😂 So peaceful and calm haha. Like a big pantry really!

Thanks Alex! Aussie airlines don't seem to overbook that often like in the US, I've only ever gotten one free upgrade with Qantas! And that was because of a last minute aircraft change

Jayden, great to see another comprehensive review. Your upgrade was really worth the $50. Your cabin manager's excellent service reminded me of the service we used to receive years ago. It's quite refreshing to see that kind of courteous and professional service nowadays. Congratulations to Virgin Australia for such a great job. 👍💯. Having a hot meal on a short flight is something you would never see in the States. The meal actually looked quite satisfactory. Thanks for showing us a little of your home life and your cat. It really helps us to "get to know you" better. Have a great trip to Vietnam and enjoy your time there. Will be looking forward to your upcoming vlogs. 🤗❤✈🙏🌎

"We used to receive years ago" Depends on whether it's domestic or long-haul or what class of travel. That sort of service can still be found on international flights when travelling premium class with certain carriers.

@@JaydenWong That will be interesting. Almost everyone says the Airbus is better. Look at QR. Airbus canx the QR order for neos then the boss turned to the MAX instead. But in London (at the High Court) QR is making Airbus change its decision. It's. *very* unusual for a manufacturer to canx an order... it's usually the other way round.

I've tried business class bidding on two separate occasions, both of which were successful. The first time was Singapore Airlines A380 to Hong Kong in 2019 and the second time on Air Canada A220 from Toronto to Montreal last year. I find it works best on an aircraft with lots of seats, or during the off-peak season when less people are traveling. In both cases it worked out cheaper in total compared to if I go straight for business class during the initial booking.

I agree with you, in regard to the lack of service cleaning around the lounge which is disappointing. Yes coffee was slow and security was slow,! Overall , good review as usual,’ welcome to business class Jayden” makes you feel good 😆

Virgin Australia is my favourite airline in Australia, flying from my hometown Melbourne to Sydney and getting business class for $600 return compared to other airlines is outstanding.

Sister, brother and cousin coat hukes. Family sticks together. 😂 Late summer,(here), landscapes from the plane. Pino Gris!!! That is Pinot Grigio to me. I mentioned it once, as I always have a glass while watching OWF. 🤩 You, at the time didn't know it. Your vlog was vlogalicious, Jayden. Always like to see Lily too. Thanks Mr Wong. 🙏🏽

Great review Jayden, and a very decent offering from Virgin Australia on this flight. Hard to believe you can get an upgrade for as little as $50! I struggle to understand the justification for not opening the shower facilities in the lounge due to COVID at this stage. I just don`t see showers as being a particularly high-risk setting.

Hi Jayden, as you know, I love the Virgin lounge in Melbourne. It's a great view too, of all the planes. I have used the "bid" to get upgrade to business class seats, and for my needs, it suits me fine.( Including the luggage allowance being only 1 suitcase, not 2 like full payment business class) It's just a pity, that when I do get an upgrade, I am not eligible for Status Points. I am a bit "stingy", so I always bid the lowest possible amount, and have been lucky to succeed.

Hayden, A lovely review. I must say, you make a lovely couple too. Hayden, please be careful of covid. Plz do not be complacent. I worry. That was a very cheeky highlight of the coa' hook, it made me laugh and laugh. Thank you

What a lucky guy you’re Jayden, last time my flight from SIN-SZX by SIA also get a bid with only 200 SGD then I upgraded from economy to business, price subtotal only 1400 SGD

Virgin always holds a special place in my heart, the Cabin Crew and service so personal due to the limited number of BC seats and l also appreciate the interaction. Time to update your Patreon list 😉

Dose it really matter if you do a poor bid than a good bid? I think it’s really only depends if business class sells out I’m doing Sydney to Adelaide

Great bargain at $50 for the upgrade . I recently flew from Sydney to Adelaide and back with Virgin and they suggested $220 for a upgrade , needless to say I didn’t bother . I’m wondering now whether I should have made a much less offer and tried my luck that way . Enjoyed the video and look forward to many more .

I have thrown in a bid at $50 a couple of times and got it bring Platinum may have helped, on the East cost flights I do there is sometimes little price difference between a flex economy and business anyway

Bid upgrade is annoying cause they expect you to bid high. I did it once on malaysia airline.

I am flying again with VA this year to Sydney. Used reward points for Mum and I. Booked economy x. This was $29 ×2 up to Sydney and same back. Only because it's leg room and easy for mum to get on and off. She is 82. Walking is not easy for her. Maybe should have bid for business?. Turbulence. Yuk. I have flown since I was 9. Still hate it. Cheers.

Jayden ate a Chicken and rice dish with cheese and crackers and a Pinot Grigio wine, his friend had the sane dish but with Tofu and the same sides as Jayden. Hope that helps.

If I were unfortunate enough to be seated next to you in Business and saw you eating noodles (like you did in the lounge) I would be repulsed and sickened that somebody could think that this behavior of eating like an animal is acceptable in public and even less in a Business Class cabin! You don't have the necessary decorum to travel in any class but economy ! Please don't ruin other peoples trips in Business by booking Business!
