I Decided to Take the Top Off my Ford FullSizeBronco BY MYSELF

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

**DISCLAIMER** This is a “How NOT To” video, for the purpose of humor. If you try to take the top of your Bronco BY YOURSELF without proper precautions you risk personal injury and damage to the top itself. Try to make friends in life people; loneliness is…lonely. If nothing else, use a cherry picker and some straps. **DISCLAIMER**
PS-The top didn’t fall, I let it all the way down balanced on my back. I’m sure it looked pretty stupid, which is why I didn’t film that part, but it, and I are fine…
Hello, folks, and welcome back to the channel!
I’M BACK!!! Sorta…
I wish I was bringing all you hotrod-hungry folks a roadster video, but raising a 2 year old has left me with some serious time-management issues to contend with. But I found myself with a couple hours free (exactly two), and I wanted to breathe some new life into this old #FullSizeBronco of mine. Certainly a little less of a #PreRunnerBronco vibe, now that it’s topless, but it’s really fun to cruise with the wind in your…hair!?
I hope you all enjoy this week’s episode! Please don’t forget to hit that “LIKE” button, and “SUBSCRIBE” to the channel and hit that notification bell if you like what you see, and want to see more videos like this! I WILL BE BACK to regularly scheduled content at some point (hey I’m trying, guys). Also, hit me up in the comments section to let me know what you think of this video, about the project on a whole, and to tell me what YOU want to see more of in future videos.

Hey Casey, just some advice. When you put the top back on lubricate the seals and try to bolt it down with an even pattern. I had a few 79 Broncos and my fist time putting the top back on it leaked. I lubricated the seals then tightened the bolts from the top/front down to the back in 3 passes. Worked great! Matt

That rollbar looks like its a pretty tight fit there. Did you put it in there or was in already there, when you got the car? Feels like its more pain in the ass to work with than the top removing. I guess its an easy piecy, when the top is off, but i guess it was there when the roll bar has been assembled, because those few crappy bolts looks like no one has touch them since the factory.

It was a cop car, so unless Ford added it as part of that package, it was probably added by whomever up-fitted the cop car stuff (like light bars, etc), right after the truck rolled off the assembly line. But, yes, I think the roll bar was probably added with the top intact (they typically tilt into place), and I don’t think the top has ever been off. Until now! 😊 Thanks for watching! Man, this video has really tanked compared to most of them. 😂 I gotta get back to more regular content…and the roadster.

@@crazycaseyscustoms Allrite, that makes sense. Was it put there by factory or the company who messes with the cop equipment, who knows, but the car has been brand new when that bar was bolted there. Old cop vehicles are a cool. My Harley Road king is a cop bike, a loyal warhorse what i use when making trips around the country and my old shovelhead has became somekind of art project, lol. Anyway, please do a roadster video!

I know,@@1fknhpycmpr355. I’m trying to get to it. Sadly, it’s the least pressing vehicle of the several I own, when it comes to which ones need the attention. Time is very fleeting these days.
