Wimbledon have given Andy Murray his final send off, a ceremony hosted by Sue Barker and attended by many of the games greats, all in front of a packed Centre Court crowd that included Murray's nearest and dearest. Boy, will he be missed.

    Sue Barker was pushed out if her job because of age - it hasn´t gone very well for the beeb since - we have a woman who is an expert in horse racing taking the baton - shame on the beeb

    Absolutely. David Law spouting the BBC line as if it was Sue's decision to retire. She only came back because it was Andy. Clair Balding is a poor substitute. She should be replaced by someone like Laura Robson who knows tennis.

    @@taskview224Whilst I fully take your point re someone who “knows tennis”, before Sue took over the presenter was Des Lynam and before him Harry Carpenter. Neither had a career as any sort of sportsman, but are both TV presenting legends. Might be before your time!
