Thank you for watching part of my playthrough of Hellblade, probably the best game I've ever played so far! I got really emotional at the end while I normally never cry because of games, haha :') I hope you like it!

The "goodbye my love" line destroyed me emotionally, in a good way.

I had the same reaction. Hellblade is the most emotionally impactful game I've ever played (and I'm a 36 year old guy who has been gaming literally my entire life). Cannot wait for the sequel to drop.

Same, just watching this over again hit me again. I know before I even think of Hellblade 2 I'm going to want to go back and visit this. But, I'm going to have to be in a good state of mind before doing it. I don't deal with psychosis specifically, but the parallells to things like depression and anxiety are obvious, and depression for me at least, is absolutely The Darkness. So it hit really close to home for me. I think I cried for an hour straight after finishing my first play through. The best part though, one of my best buds from the Marines played it, he messaged me out of the blue and asked if I had, and I was like "absolutely." He'd helped me before in a couple of my dark times and he was like "I loved it, and after playing it, I understand a bit of what you go through, and I'm sorry I never did before." That's. Fucking. Poweful. Art. I'll see you all as Senua's Saga continues.

I literally just beat this game this week because I wanted to make sure I beat it before Hellblade 2 dropped. When I first started playing it, I had to stop because it was bringing back so many emotions. I'm diagnosed with PTSD and depression after dealing with a massive loss, and actually attempted to take my own life in 2019. After seeing all the info drop for Hellblade 2, especially with Heilung's involvement, I decided to pick it back up and I'm glad I did. I connected with Senua so much and in that final battle I fought and fought and didn't want to give up. I started looking up finale reactions and compared it to mine and it was like every player WAS Senua, yelling to keep fighting while the voices were telling her/us to let go. The ending, especially VNV Nation playing just broke me into tears for a good 20 minutes. It was tears of relief though, because not only did I feel like I relieved another battle in my life, but I was still here to experience this masterpiece. I'm so glad this game was made, because it made people like us feel like the mental struggles we go through on a daily basis are validated, and that no matter how hard the battle may be, we can overcome in our own way.

What an awesome story. Just full of inner struggles. My favorite part is when she is at peace with her husband and finally learns to let go and it gives her what she needs to suppress the darkness. The part where she closes her hand and the voices almost go away completely and you see her arm go back to normal that was the point for me where I popped some tears. Never had a game make me understand so much of what the main character was feeling. Beautiful.

I had never felt so fucking much for a character I was playing as I have for Suena. And the song is a masterpiece. Most videogames fucks up their endings, execution-wise, the end credits are always half-assed. These end credits were cinema-level.

she really didnt die . just the darkness and lose and pain died within her , she had to let go of the man that she loved to move forward with her future . so she was reborn without feeling the loss and that it will be ok if the darkness comes up on her again . and that she will be ready for it . i mean her quest was bringing her to the point of madness . the game it self to place inside her mind , so the ending was her letting go . and she doesnt know what is a head and she was talking to us . the game player to come with her on her next quest . ''Hellblade 2"
