Great video

Never directly crop. Always use a mask plugin for that. Otherwise, you will scratch your head later, if you want to add additional effects to it, like the noise filter to add animations to the borders.

Resolved: So I was originally watching/listening on my phone. The main thing I missed was the Scene Filter for the Move Source. I thought it was the group filter. That's what led to my frustration. Thanks for the video! ~original comment content~ Hmmm, when doing the Move Source filter I am unable to select the group as the source. I wonder if the latest OBS version broke this part? I'm on 30.1.2 Edit: Even rolled back OBS to 30.0.2 (same as in this video) and Move Transition to 2.9.8 (again same as in this video). Yet when I do the filter it will only allow me to choose the Yellow or Blue source, not the Group that both are in.

I have a slightly irrelevant question but you seem to be one right person to tackle it . Well, can I use WPS ppt that I made from scratch ( with some WPS given animation + sound effects) on KZread? Or will I get some kind of copyright or strike even though I made it from scratch by myself? I wanna make educational videos which isn't possible without ppt

If it is all your original work you will not get copyright strikes from it unless the content violates some other KZread policy.

@@MichaelFeyrerJr All in all my confusion arises because I read in WPS website that the content of their website/app should not be used for commerical means. And KZread is a commerical means idk if I am understanding it wrong

Thank you for the information. I can't get it to move, so i can only use the midgroup, and it will be static. What am i doing wrong? In the preview it does show the startgroup going backwards but it doesn't show in the stream at all, like there's just no transition.

Do you have everything set up properly in the transition properties? Sounds like you may not have the scene selected.

somehow it seems that it takes the startgroup for the reset, it goes from right to left in the preview and then there is nothing in the real transitions. @@MichaelFeyrerJr Somehow i must have gotten the settings wrond in the effect filter. Tried to add more intermediate stage placements to smooth it out but they just don't show. Perhaps it is the reset setting itself.

I would love you to show how you do that scene of you in the phone and tv's

the transition for some reason doesn't work when i click to or from my end scene. Anyone know what i did wrong?

welp... I did something wrong... tried installing the plugins now obs just refuses to open...

❤ I've been trying to rebuild my set-up. For some reason the Move Transition's Get Transform won't retrieve the data. I've tried multiple variations of applying it to sources. As well as on multiple computers. No luck. I see many other people have been having this issue too, but no suggestions for a solution. I'm hoping someone out there might have some suggestions. (Then I can start working on my transitions and effects too 😊)

Usually this is an issue with what asset is selected on the preview and in the filter.

i didnt say i was using a pay service....The problem with obs studio is the fact that if you have way to many browser sources the damn thing lags...its a resource hog which in itsself is not good for your games. I have watched all of your videos and the only thing i can say is maybe seeing as how you have insight....you tell them to stop wit the resources being hogged during game streams. Tell them to look into intergrading these things into there software and make it not suck a resource hog! @@MichaelFeyrerJr
