honestly, selling two nukes at once to both sides (one for each) would make them scared cause mutually assured destruction exists, you'd keep your clients while creating a demand for a new and expensive weapon

Possibly time to stake your claim to the world using nukes to blast apart your enemies. Causing a nuclear fallout possibly laying the ground work for a new series after this one ends. One where Scott’s last command to the company was to survive and rebuild in a ruined world to build a safe haven of civilization in a now ruined and destroyed landscape of raiders and psychos

Perhaps the reason Scott develops his psychite addiction is because of the nukes they're building? He realises, as he is getting older and his body begins to fail him, that maybe the S&R Company is maybe going a step too far with this new doomsday weapon. Maybe this has caused some tension between Scott and Richard; he wants to take the company to the next level in prestige and profits! Maybe it's partly driven by his lingering grief over Downs' affair, and he just wants to watch the world burn? Who hell knows, but this is certainly my headcanon now I've thought about it

i can see the two fighting at some point and the company could split as the two fight, some follow Scott and Richard becomes paranoid at the people that follow him. He becomes a tyrant as the war goes on and he want throws anyone that disagrees with him in jail till Scott comes back with his followers and the rest is unseen

I think a gun lord showing of the power of a nuke by blowing up the enemies of the two major buyers, so they would buy from said gun lord, would be a cool and somewhat likely thing that would happen.

Lore idea: The reason Richard has an inherit interest in weapons is because when he was a soldier in the marshall service he once got reprimanded for sparing a rebel's life during a raid. Part of his punishment was inventoring the armory, where he developed a certain fascination with how firearms are made, used and constructed. (This little rebel side-story might also be where he got the habit of giving captured enemies a second chance when starting S&R co, and maybe even the idea to try and reach out to Lercot when deserting, but idk this might not be as believable.)

I agree and try to create your own art. Gain inspiration from other pieces but don't just blatantly copy

I would say keep the nuke, like as a deterrent to use in a extreme case like if raids get bad then use it. Or use it to wipe out the MDM as a show of force. Also had a idea of another series, one involving a group of people from all factions who are tired of the fighting and just wanna settle down, willing to take anyone in. This group is not affiliated with the rebels or marshals or thrumboians, but they see just people who wanna live in a society that accepts everyone. Another idea I had for a random series was solarpunk druid society, a bunch of druids who wanna make an advanced, self sustaining society in a world that is slowly dying from pollution and megacorps who want to leave to settle down on another world far away from this one, and they wanna find some way to escape the world while building a society that is the opposite of their neighbors, clean energy, self sufficient and self sustaining.

I could see Richard turning Scott into a cyborg of sorts to keep the face of the company alive and using the body parts that he made as the testament of the companies passion and progress throughout the war. Scott would not like it since this could mean that Richard would take over his body and use him as a slave even though they have been friends throughout the company time. this would cause a rift between the two a new of them as the tea works on Scott's mind and he becomes paranoid at the team causing him wanting to leave. Richard tries to stop him from doing so since he knows too much and a battle happens between them and their followers and the group that wins the battle will change the direction of the company.

you know what i'd like to see someday? a series with the Winston Waves mod. i feel like that'd make for some great drama, especially with your custom factions like the Rimworld Marshal Service

babke wake up, new gun empire episode

Lore idea: as the tensions between the S&R Rifle Company, the tribals, and the groups Scott owes money too grows the S&R company becomes divided after Richard brings up the idea of using nuclear weapons and the mercenary group to launch full scale attacks at the tribals and debt collecting groups, Scott says to not do so and to only defend the colony and instead let the RMS (Rimworld Marshal Service) and the rebels take care of them. (This can also be reversed to where it's Scott advocating for war and Richard advocating for peace and if you choose to do this lore idea later down the line you could split the company in two and have two colonies on different sides of the map that also trade with different people. Ex:Scott trades with RMS and Richard trades with the rebels, or maybe even the mercenaries launch a rebellion and attempt a military takeover of the company because of the company's division)

Also dunno if you were using them, but toss heaters scattered distantly separate, throughout your main halls, and then add a "vent" to the hallway-facing walls of each room and the heat and air conditioning will regulate temps for all rooms. There's a general temp range that seems best, so set your heater to heat to the min-temp and AC to cool to your max-temps, +-5. Temp problems become a thing of the past. Also use wall lamp mod for wall lamp and wall sunlamps. (though I think 1.5 has wall lamps now)

I feel like you should, (if possible given game limitations) make so that as you sell more and more nukes, the price of both nukes and uranium goes higher and higher. Uranium should also get rarer and rarer to see being sold as you sell more and more nukes. (Also, the ideas to sell only when you can sell one to each side as already commented makes sense) However, always and I mean ALWAYS make sure you have at least five in storage for your own personal use and defense, as, after all, once the can of worms has been unleashed, it cannot be re-canned. You should also produce some kind of artillery piece or vehicle that can launch said nuke, so that you are able to use them for defense if the need arises. Oh and, perhaps you should make a nuclear reactor and start production of plutonium bombs?

Imagine a mod alowing players to build 2 story buildings it would change a lot of stuff

Honestly feel like having those nukes under the company's control would help keep anyone would-be greedy factions from getting to big of a head in thinking of turning their military mights against the company. Mainly Marshals and Rebel forces you've been supplying. Be a nice little surprise for either of them if they ever decide to go to war against you and the might of the company! Hell could even have a code name for when you have to use nukes against one of those factions or any faction dumb enough to try and take on the company. Something along the lines of like, "Red Death/Blue Death" for like the faction colors or something like, "Special Delivery" or "Bloody Goodbye" or something like that. These are just examples but figured a cool code name could be a fun deterrent/final defense to keep your clients in line would benift the company.

I will say it would be cool to add a bit more in the way of intrigue for the Gun Empire since selling weapons isn't the only way a warlord can have control, but also information, you know possibly secrets or locations that were acquired by the mercs or others. Also I think a cool idea at some point is for Richard to find that pig that almost killed him, perhaps add a bit more drama to this story. Speaking of which that armor looks awesome on him, aslo when is Scott going to get a proper bed is that just a personal preference of his or simply something that's forgotten about?

Hi, for your embrasures I recommend placing the walls one by one (sandwich type: em-wall-em) or placing the wall where the pawn will stand. So the colonists will be able to stay safe even more effectively and will not be afraid to get shot. Also be careful when cross-firing from different angles because enemies can spot and shoot your colonists as well

next time before you deconstruct solar panel in similar situation, try to check if you remove roof in a zone menu. You can actually remove the mountain "roof" on the edge tiles of the mountain.
