For this week’s #photoshop #speedart we're going into space! For sometime now I've been in awe of the 'Gargantua' #blackhole from Interstellar, and was keen to try and replicate one using the 'filter-distort-twirl' technique.
This piece took around 4 hours to complete and is primarily a mix of photo-manipulation techniques as well as some digital painting where needed.

Changing your mind as a new concept hits you. So frickin next level.
The music along with the arkwork made me think that those two astronauts are probably a parent with their child and since they're drifting into the black hole they decided to witness those last moments together hand in hand for the last time while they prepare to meet the space/time eating moster and this whole headcanon of mine made me emotional lol That's a long way to say that this artwork really speaks to me and I love it

As I child in the 80's I used to be completely mesmerized by the art of the movie posters then. The art of those images always pulled me in and somehow translated me to other worlds just by seeing them. Your work does the same to me as well! I love that you do these epic adventure types of composites. It just drills down on that nostalgia and sparks the desire to dream. LOVE this channel and all your skill and hard work bro! The way you use the warp tool to make the blackhole is amazing. Been binge watching a lot of your videos and all of your edits are amazing, especially this one as Interstellar is definitely my favourite movie, so many scenes that are visual masterpieces and this edit also lives up to that. I have to agree with so many others here. Your work is truly great and a tremendous inspiration. One person noted in the comments that they have problems coming up with ideas, and wondered if anyone else had similar problems. I would suggest many, if not all of us have that problem in varying degrees. However, I've found that watching your videos gives me all kinds of ideas for pieces of my own, and for that, this channel is invaluable. Really good stuff and many thanks for doing these.
