I Could Have Died Fishing Here By Myself (Catching Snook In Florida At Night)

Спорт

I caught Snook in a very dangerous place to fish at night. In this video I'm fishing with live bait and lures in hopes of catching a big Snook in Florida. I targeted several different bridges that are known to be good spots to fish during the spring. I also tried fishing at the jetties for the first time at night. On the third night of chasing after a trophy fish Julio joined me. He's been a longtime subscriber of the channel and has become a great fishing friend through the years.

I know these videos take a lot of time and effort but these are definitely my favorite. I’d rather watch you struggle to catch one trophy snook than catch 20 little ones, the journey to the big catch is half the fun. It’s a representation of REAL fishing, not just a highlight reel. I know views half been tough lately but I want you to know I respect the grind, keep it up brother 👍🏼

J.C. I'd love to go fishing with you I think we'd have a good time. Back in the day me and my wife would fish the bridge's and would bring my young one with us. She would sleep in a little play pen we would bring. The wife would fish dead shrimp on the bottom for snappers. I'd throw the net for mullet and fish for snook. Lately with work and age we don't go like we use to but I told her J.C. said get out there enjoy life. Thank you buddy you are so right . I have grandkids now and I want to make memories like my grandparents did with me.

Thanks man, great video. One thing I’m starting to get a little disappointed about with FL snook fishing is how slow it can be. I’m a NY transplant and used to catch striped bass MUCH more consistently than snook, and I’ve been down here for 19 months already. Sure, I’ve caught a few big snook but there are SOOOO many fishless nights. I’m not saying that you can catch striped bass in NY each and every night, but it’s WAAAAY more consistent than snooking 😢…

  • @ziradee

Depends on time of the year. Plus we have so many other species that you can catch. In NY it's Stripers, Fluke/Flounder, and Bluefish(yuck). Here we have a smorgasbord of fish depending on time of year especially if you have a boat.
