@George not sure, but she did post a video at some point about coming back and everything, but she must have removed it or privated it... so i think she just decided to move on to other things, or maybe she just needed more time. either way, WE MISS HER!!!

For anyone worrying about her, I bet she just needs a break from the stress of social media. She updated on Goodreads early April, so it hasn't been months without a word. We all miss her, but she will come back when she's ready. ❤

Loved it! Your dad is always mentioning older mistery or sci-fi novels that you don't know, you should switch it around and do a video where he controls your reading week or even a month so you're able to get through more books :)

Lemme just say that Zoe was the person who helped me discover my love for books. Her recs videos were always the ones that I jumped to back then and helped me to discover booktube . I hope she is well and I really wish her the best.

Do whatever you need to do that's best for you Zoe. Your physical/mental health is much more important than KZread and even if you just want to move on with your life, thank you for the joy you've brought to me with your content and I'd love more, but I just wish you the best in your future endeavours, whatever they may be and I'm sure your other followers do too!

So I'm stopping the video at 14 and a half minutes to comment this: OMG I COMPLETELY AGREE WITH ZOE'S DAD! It's not a proper series if each story doesn't end in itself, and one larger story continues through the three books. Its actually just one story broken up into three parts. I really had a problem with the ending of Truly Devious for the very same reason, it was too incomplete.

I agree, every book needs to have a beginning, middle, and an end. They have to have a story in their own right that starts and ends within the confines of the pages, it should never drag on to the next book. It's like if the first Harry Potter book ended before they got to the philosopher's stone, and you had to wait until the sequel for Harry to meet Quirrell/Voldemort.

In the book I also felt like the answers to the mystery just fell right in her lap. Like she would dork around, then poke around, and finally she knew the answer. Just annoyed me.

Your dad is so cool, mine doesn’t read at all. The only reason I got him to read the hunger games series is because he lost a bet to me 😂

I 100% agree with zoe's dad on truly devious. even if your book is part of a series, the story in one book should still be satisfying even though there's a larger narrative. otherwise it's just frustrating!

I mean, sure, it would have been nice to get a tiny video where she says that she won't make any videos anymore but at the same time I understand that sometimes these things are not planned and before you know it, you havent done a video in a while and dont want to and that's totally fine.

Yes! It was so cozy and creative and wholesome I remember enjoying the newts and OWLs readathons Now even the book genres have changed There aren't epic fantasies as much and it's all now heading towards romance and "spice" smh.
