I love Nate Wants to Battle and I even listen to his original songs too but I feel like too many creators get annoyed at their own audience for the interesting art they made in the first place. You don't have to do the same thing forever but trying to brush off what made you popular as a mistake isn't right either imo. Especially because fnaf's origins for Scott was a fluke in its own right.

They never were really luck based its just Jirard didn't want to ever game the system. There's way to cheese everyone of the games other than UCN to make them simple. An they aren't luck based either as there are analysis videos that tell you the break down of the mechanics and how everything works. These things have basically trivialized the games in a way when they use to be unpredictable. Its how someone like Astralspiff can complete all 12 games in under 13 hours.

As a Security Guard, I will say that FNaF misrepresents how being a night guard is like. Most night guard jobs I've ever had will have me at the front desk, with occasional patrols and write up a little note saying if anything's changed since the last patrol (there rarely would be). It may seem silly in retrospect about the "Jump Scare Horrors" FNAF provided over the years, and yet we could say that the games themselves did land at just the right time in order to provide a new approach to the horror genre. Yeah, now we have a dime a dozen games like FNAF nowadays, but no denying Scott did a lovely job with the titles. As for how they will hold up as we get older, we'll have to wait and see (especially to see if the long awaited FNAF film does hold up well enough too).

Its always kids wgo look around ages 5-8. I always wonder if the parents know what their 5 year olds are reading since in comparison to the games, the books are very gruesome with their descriptions of death.

"This character must've been REALLY desperate to take this job." Actually, without too many spoilers, the MC/s in the first game took the job because he/they already KNOW/S what goes on at the restaurant. Not too sure about the second game, though (I really don't know much about the MC for that one...). (Personally, I think the low pay for the job was intentional on the management's part, to scout for guys like the MC who already know too much.) (Also, I know someone's gonna ask, "Why would he take the job if he already knows what's up?" Well, Night 7's guard in both games (Who may or may not both be the FNaF 1 MC in disguise) get fired for "tampering with the animatronics", so you tell me. :3)

Sister Location is the only one I didn't beat, and it drives my OCD nuts. I actually got past that horrendous 4th night and technically got the bad ending, but I didn't do the Ennard section. I tried it a few times, but having to sit through the keypad challenge and walk back there every time you lose got too tedious to keep going. If there was a checkpoint right at the start of the traditional FNAF Ennard section, it would have been way more enjoyable and I'm sure I would have finished it. Surprised Jirard didn't mention how annoying this runback is, especially by the 8th or so loss.

There ARE achevements for these games on the console editions! There are: Ten achievements in fnaf 1 Ten achevements in fnaf 2 Ten achevements in fnaf 3 Ten achevements in fnaf 4 Ten achevements in sister location This totals to 5000 gamerscore on Xbox, as each set is worth 1000 each, most of them are unlocked by simply beating each night plus the sixth night and hardest custom night mode, then there are usually two more revolving around things such as keepimg foxy from running on night 4 and keeping freddy from reaching 4A or 4B.

the fact that nobody, including me, had faith the FNAF movie would be good or even come out and it was as solid as it was is absolutely wild to me. We saw the trailer and all said our goodbyes to the feddy as we knew it and we're finally stepping back from the hell that is Steel Wool Series E: Jirard putting the Binding of Isaac post-boss music over his fnaf 1 discussion is so genius, the music direction in these videos is optimal

RE: the 'rant' about 'scares'; The reason those ''scares' go away so quick is because they aren't scary. They aren't fear inspiring- They're Startling, and that's all. It startles you, It shocks you for a moment, But it isn't scary. 'Jumpscares', despite their name, are not scary- Merely startling/surprising. The scare, the fear, is all the atmosphere and fear of the unknown leading up TO a jumpscare or in the moments after it.

Doesn't Sister Location also have its own custom night challenges after beating the base game (+ Enard)?

There is no problem ur a part of. What's popular is what's popular. And the lore and story is a big part of a game. Just like char design is. It would of died if it was just a quick fad by now. FFX is one of the best games EVER. Cuz of story. I dont care about any other FF games. FFX gameplay is just fine. Average RPG but story and lore are what make a game

Just a little correction I heard in the SL part: You're playing as Michael Afton, William Afton's son. William at that point in the cronology is most likely death in the Spring Bonnie suit.

It's a shame you never completed Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator, because FNAF 6 is what most consider the ending of the original story. Atleast do it eventually, it's worth it
