Full respect to Arteta. He saw odegaard is captain of Norway which is a young upcoming national team and he driving them on with haaland. This shows he is at the level to lead this young Arsenal team. His position within the team gives him a 360 degree view of the pitch and team so he can be vocal and motivate. Fantastic

Yeah Saliba, Martinelli, Saka can go as far as they want. Odegaard needs to step it up still quite a lot, has the ability but mostly his execution which seems to let him down. Had a very solid season though

Hopefully his football can do the talking with the other players in the team. Come on Arsenal !

my captain one thing i really loved about him was in the all or nothing doc whenever mikel was given presentations and explanations he always looked like he was lock in was processing everything mentally very smart and talented glad he found a home. But she did, especially about Arteta and also his pre-Arsenal days where you could see a bit of the pain on his face of how difficult it must have been for him to go from loan to loan and not find a place where he feels at home...!

13 minutes I wish they were used for better question for my captain he has so much experience for his age. You cannot imagine he traveled everywhere. went do the biggest club in the world certain age and you got a lovely story and look at him today he’s still strong & improving. He’s really making me proud. That is an arsenal fan ❤️⭐️

he is still missing some long passes here and there, mostly the easy ones, or off pressure ones, but the way he directs his teammates and scolds them on the defensive side, or when they don`t cover/get into open spaces at this young age as a captain is smth.his work-rate is good, did some good interceptions, some good tackles to get back in possession. Here and there some poor finished chances but he is really tuned into the Arsenal spirit. But such a great player, can`t wait to see what the future unfolds for him. Hope he will be healthy too!

I will be honest. He tends to shrivel out in big games and becomes a threat in small games. Not really a match winner in big games. So nervous when nerves are needed. Compare the goal he scored against Watford last season, and against some team this season where partey scored a banger, too hard to score. Then look at chances he couldn't take in Brentford came. All points to nervousness in tight games . He loses his composure in toe to toe games. I see him folding off in Man city

Also you need to consider Arsenal has dearth of quality DM or Box to box players in midfield. KDB has so much space because his fellow midfielders makes his job easy for him. In Arsenal case all you need to do is to mark Ødegaard-saka - as its result creativity drops. Pep and Klopp always did this whenever Arsenal played against them. Because they are aware of this guy's quality. Trust in the process
