I CHALLENGED THE DISC GOLF VALLEY LEGEND TO A MATCH!! Vlogmas Day 5

Спорт

David Sallee used to be the highest rated Disc Golf Valley player and is the first guy to reach level 1000 in the game (That's insane). David is now an ambassador for the game and as an internal beta tester he's helping the game improve. His Username is "David" 😆. I've been actually playing quite a lot and this game is probably my most frequently played phone game this year. The updates in the game have been great and it's so much better than it was when it first appeared on my channel. Hope you enjoy our match!

@@jayceesus7 Because Simon will be looking for shortcuts, well only be using 4 different site swaps. Three Ball - 55500 and 50505 (three ball snake / chase). Four Ball - 552 and 55550. While I like 5551 as a trick, I find it doesn't help as much as I would like for 5 ball training. It's one sided and the 1 throw takes a bit of the focus away from really focusing on the 5 throws. As you know from learning it, 5 balls is brutally difficult, it's a monumental challenge that Simon has set up for himself and I'm super curious to see how close he gets to it! Working hard to get the video done and it should be up on my channel at some point tomorrow.

@@AJuggler although if your struggling (Simon) with RSI its probably not the best thing to try and chase juggling 5 balls. Its likely to only aggravate any elbow issues. Best to rest until fully recovered. I find 53 an excellent site swap for 5 especially the 5's with the weaker hand. I had been doing a fair bit of 7club traing so my 5 is super solid. I found increasing the original difficulty (5 to 7) then then hard task seems somewhat easier. A bit like putting from 20m makes 10m seem way easier.

@@AJuggler Oh yes, Simon is clearly a skill sponge and ofc I keep my fingers crossed. I know that he can do a bit of 4 balls so I guess 10 catches is in his range. 10 seconds is a whole different ballgame - pun pun pun - as we both know :) Thanks for both replies David ! (I was a bit tipsy and spammy when I was watching the vid ;P) Edit: Oh and congrats for true mastery over this game and switching to help developers, really cool stuff :)

When you're putting you can actually drag the disc left and right to get around obstacles. You can just throw diagonal basically.

You should do a DGV cross with hucknorris! Check out his growing channel if you haven’t seen it yet. He would be beyond thrilled to get the opportunity. Keep up the great work Simon and congrats on the house and engagement!

To get around the rock you can also putt an overstable midrange or driver. They fade really fast when you putt them.

You need to use the putt throw for getting around the pillars. It allows you to release from the side

I didn’t know what Disc Golf Valley was. I thought it was an actual course. And the dude said he has only been playing since 2019 and was considered a legend and had a rating above 1000. I was like what the hell?

I thought disc valley was a local disc club somewhere. When he started talking about his rating my confusion began. I thought that’s odd, I guess I know less about the PDGA rating than I thought. Then when I seen Simons stats and he was in Rec division my mind kind of melted
