Are there any xray mods out there that map out an area ahead of time and saves diamond block info in a buffer? I know there is a visible ores texture pack that helps a player see ores on the surface more easily, but that would not affect the player's ability to see ores beneath the surface. His mod seems to make him blind to everything except for natural stuff. It might be fun to put a wall of diamonds in his path and see if he runs into it. I think that when he found that wall in his way he turned his mod off and started going for visible stuff again.

Seed reversing has been well understood for a while now in technical communities, even from screenshots and videos, but yeah, this guy seems like he has one that only spots exposed diamonds. You can also reverse diamond locations from worldgen of various things, including lapis and clay generation.

In the old versions of minecraft, I understood the spawn pattern and could find them without hacking. It looked like I had x-ray because I would intuitively break the blocks covering diamonds just because I understood the probability of it being there.

What would make it interesting is If possible for Doni to have someone make a un-hackable troll horror mod for the server to be used against those that started to hack on the server and have it so that all set mods are fixed and commands are useless and terror is around every corner. This way those caught hacking first or second time will be punish but will be given a chance to earn their cheat goods the first time but later repeated offenses would be punish with no loot gain and possibly ban.

Honestly, instead of diamonds, you could have tried deep slate....though there's a 60% chance he was hacking but knew he was being messed with if diamonds suddenly appear in places where rock and gravel was. Also, please consider a 'Grinch' challenge for your smp, in which your friends must decide to save either a lot of mod presents or one of them getting a big cash prize awhile the others lose the presents.

I say give him a 2nd chance, since the dude was honest and upright about it, and instantly stopped as soon as he was told X-ray isn’t allowed. I personally used fullbright on a server before catching myself and asking if it’s allowed there (it was, thankfully).

wouldnt it be more fun to have something so that when you find an xrayer, you can turn on a mod and it deletes the block as they get close to it... or it turns it to a primed tnt or something... on every ore they go near XD

Maybe he's using a pathfinder type of hack. Where he just follow a line if the target (ex:diamond) is exposed. So even if someone saw him hacking, he can just pretend its luck.
