When you watch one of Erik's videos, you know you are going to see a beautiful glimpse of old world craftsmanship and living. I'm very proud of him.

I marveled at the way he handled himself, to build a cabin and other things, alone for 3 years, I am in awe! Much respect 👍👏❤️

Oh my, this is wonderful. Side note - i have never had an issue with sound quality on your channel Erik, but this video stood out as sound amazing. Wanted to make sure you know we appreciate it! Edit: Now that I finished the video I would happily argue this is one of the 10 best KZread videos of all time.

As a Swede I love seeing my fellow countrymen emerging from the deep forest, their natural habitat, with curious eyes and cautiously start approaching the food. Glorious wild life photography Erik! You must have waited a long time for that many swedes to gather.

What most people don't understand (since Swedish is not the most widely spread language in the world) is that one of Erik's grandparent's comments how lovely the food he has provided is and you do not get to experience it in the every day. It is so lovely to just watch and listen to Erik's films. The first time I visited Sweden, before emigrating to the country, I could not cease to be amazed by how lush and green everything was and the simplicity of everyday life.

This was a great video with family. You are a great provider and you are self-reliant. I really enjoy watching how you live and how you are doing what our ancestors did on a daily basis. How lazy we have become as a people. We no longer depend on our abilities to do for ourselves. We work a job to pay folks to do for us what you do daily as a normal way of life. When you are tired you can look back at your day of labor and feel a sense of great accomplishment. You do not rely on no one, no govt. , no one to provide for you. I admire you very much and the man that you have grown into.

Yeah it is. But we call it Saft. I think it's probably the same thing in english, cordial.

There is a peace that comes with living this way that not many get to experience Growing up part of my life in the Bush and having to livr this way especially as a kid growing up there is nothing that can compare to it. I’m so excited every time I see you posted a new video because your videographer skills keep amazing and the design of your cabin and all that goes with it is inspiring and beautiful to watch. Me haces recordar a mis abuelos maternos y paternos y mis ancestros...mi abuela georgiana estudió en San Petersburgo y a los 16 fué a trabajar a Siberia cómo agrimensora y vivía en Iglú y se calentaba con bosta de reno ,luego pasó a vivir cerca de San Petersburgo,dónde todo era campo, y se producía todo el alimento en el verano y se conservaba en el sótano para pasar el invierno..y la vaca en establo infaltable para la leche de todos los niños...por mis abuelos maternos otros lugares pero historias similares y también en otros continentes a posteriori ..me llevan a mi infancia...y esos papines... es una delicia, recuerdo cuando mi abuelo materno sacaba las plantas de papas y con ese tamaño ( se puede esperar más para mayor tamaño, es cuando florece la planta) nunca volví a comer papas más ricas!

@@mag5552 не буду спорить, но мне кажется, что это его земля, или в аренде, там с этим строго. не исключаю также того ньюанса, что всё это сделано для зрителя (согласись, сделано со вкусом )). К тому же, застрелить кабана ради еды, а не для продажи мяса, мне кажется нормальным :) (моё мнение )

@@mag5552 In Sweden, boar can be hunted all year around, there are no quotas, and it’s usually done alone or in small groups. It’s not at all organized like the yearly moose hunt.
