I have to w MF’er swim bait rod. You’ll love it. It’s super stiff to throw the heavy baits and it’s really light. I have a daiwa lexa 300 on it. It casts and retrieves like butter

I like all your spinning gear…I remember 3-4 years ago you’d be laughed at for having more spinning set ups than casting set ups on your front deck, I feel like baitcasters you need like 3..I’ve always felt like that too… a 7’2medium heavy ,a 7’3 heavy and a 7’6+ heavy. Can cover any power fishing bait on that spectrum, everything else you can use on spinning gear, especially crappie baits

Some of these new spinning setups can easily power fish. I have a st croix tournament bass 7'3 med heavy and 4k shimano i throw big glide baits and frogs with lol.

Daiwa Exist with a 11lb drag. Can you tell the difference. The Ballistic is a great real 22lb drag. But is the price point anything to brag about??? With the Daiwa Lexa 100 series vs the 300 series its a line counter reel. With the less beefy drag on the 100 vs the 300 we make it two seasons max then throw away. Bumped up to the 300 series and haven't had a issue yet. So is 860$ going to last with a 11 lb drag. Any opinions on that?

You don’t need a 22 lb drag on a spinning reel fishing for bass
