She serves as a senior advisor to the Government Technology and Services Coalition and is a member of the Links, Incorporated.
For the past decade, migration has been one of the leading political issues across the Western world.
Ghana is the first African country to open its doors to people of African descent from all over the world. Angela heeded this call and took a trip to Ghana. When she said that being in Ghana felt so familiar, I felt that. I had the same experience Dec 26 2020, it felt so comfortable, so natural, it's like I had been there before. I spent the first few days wondering why I felt so connected. It was so crazy to me. My spirit was home!
I’m a Black American and visited Ghana in December 2019 during the “Year of Return” and had an amazing and enlightening trip! I hope that every Black American who wishes to come can have the opportunity.

I am from the states as well and I visited South Africa 🇿🇦 in 2018. It was definitely a spiritual experience to be back home and to be welcomed home from strangers in the motherland. Ghana 🇬🇭 is the next country I will visit, I cannot wait.

I love South Africa. I was in a boarding school with a South African in Ghana during the apartheid years.He was the most soul provoking person I knew even at that age.

Dentaa is a wonderful interviewer. Being such a good listener, she's able to ask very thoughtful questions and you could tell that Angela was enthusiastic about the questions and eager to answer them. Great interview, ladies! Very inspiring.
This young lady will be read about by young and old decades from now. I’m glad she’s made her first trip to the motherland. Love the setting for the interview. My wife, a few relatives and I were just there over the Christmas holidays.

What a delight learning about Angela after having only experienced her as a TV host/commentator/personality. These are my dreams come true in seeing the anchestors of US slaves stolen from Africa return to Africa. Truly, a hope and dream come true.

What Up, Homes 😜…I feel ya!! I just returned from Nigerian in September - for initiations! And I’m thinking of marrying an african woman!! I’m blood-line connected to the Tikar of Cameroon, but am also feeling the Yoruba culture of Nigeria, the Akan people and government of Ghana, and the clean, lovely Rep. of Benin, with it’s National recognition of Vodun as one if it’s National Religions (with Ch/Islam)!
Angela is in a TOUGH SPOT. By being on CNN and dealing with their specific narrative, yet being true to herself and trying to represent her community at the same time, most cannot handle it. But what I like about Angela, she still seam to be genuine and without being a sellout, which is very difficult. Let's keep praying for our sister, she's DEFINATELY in the belly of the BEAST if you get my gist. But in the BLK community there's many who don't trust her due to her position with CNN. I lover her tenacity to try to stay REAL and to keep herself well grounded.

I love this channel so much. I will be traveling to Ghana next April. As for Ms Rye, she's really a celebrity activist. Not all Black Americans are impressed with her as a serious voice in black politics. Many black Americans don't give real credit to black political pundits. They are for hire and therefore their 'activism' fits the agenda of the network, platform, etc who showcases their content. Difficult to fight for liberation when you are shackled!!
