"I don't know how you're meant to do anything else when you have a baby. Genuinely, like, I don't know how we're supposed to exist." Literally every new parent ever, sims team did a 10/10 in terms of realism.

I have this legacy family. I’m currently on gen 5. My sim just had triplets. This was my first experience with infants. I thought “hey, infants can’t be that bad!” And made them fussy, wiggly, and sensitive. My god that was a mistake. Update: the infants are now teens. My life is much better. I feel relaxation. @@HorizonOfTheEra I started doing a 100 baby challenge with the infant update and Growing Together pack. My matriarch founder had TWO sets of twins back to back, so I had FOUR INFANTS all at once! She had a sunny, cautious, sensitive, and calm infant all at the same time. The sunny, cautious, and sensitive infants all grew up wonderfully and had the same number of milestones as their calm sister. Yet, the calm one (and the only girl) is the only one that developed the Unhappy Infant trait after aging up into a toddler. Like, why Sims 4, why??

@@babycakelings yeah bc, they aren't THAT dependent, just get their potty skill up and give them that tablet and they're good to go lol, I always want to get them to max out all of their skills and this is my strategy, infants on the other hand are way too dependent, even when you reach all of the milestones they still need adults to take care of their needs which I find accurate tbh, and I'm loving it, like I'm loving this new level of difficulty in TS4.
"This morning was easy. Right now is not." HUGE parenting mood. They call that the "witching hour" lol!
My husband and I are LOSING IT over how hilarious these reactions to actual REAL baby things are!
Something I’ve noticed is that as the infants earn more milestones, they have more poses available when you click “take photo of…” for example, at first, there were only poses with my infant laying down, but once she learned how to sit up, some ones with her sitting were added!
I had twins while I was at university and had a 2 yr old in real life. I CANNOT TELL YOU how much I relate to the "it never ends" line 😂 I can't wait to bring my life to the sims.
Just found something out by accident 😂 not sure how many people know but if you click more options on the box baby basinet, you can now change the outfit of the baby! Without knitting for hours 😂 there are loads of cute outfits ☺️

The realism of new parents going out for the first time and immediately going back to the kids. 😂
As a mother of twin infants the title alone made me laugh and cry. Lol
Watching these infants and your stress level, mixed with your amazement about their achievements is really near what I felt while I had my own babies in real life. They made a great job with infants!
The cat watching over the babies is so cute! I also used to have a black cat who did the same thing when I was little - seeing this is so special and makes me feel like he’s still here. 💕
I use "long life span" and I *still* have trouble getting all their milestones. My first set was twins, and oh, my, but that was difficult. I thought they had all the milestones until the second set (a singleton birth, fortunately) did more (often on her own.) This pack really does add more challenges! But at least it's fun at the same time.
I'm doing the 100 baby challenge and I got triplet infants when I already had twin toddlers. This was my first experience with infants and Growing Together... I'm very happy with my decision to hire a nanny for extra help
i made the mistake of having twin infants AND A SINGLE MOTHER in my first infant playthrough - a nanny was hired within the first 12 in game hours and we are frantically searching for a life partner 😅 but hey, at least theyre living in the blue suburban!

My first time playing with infants, my sim was in labor so she had the baby at the hospital and it was TRIPLETS I thought they would not be that bad but I was so wrong, when I aged up my newborns I randomized their traits and got 2 cautious and 1 intense... I regreted that
i made the mistake of having our second child when the first was just into infancy, and OH MAN, it was close enough that it was basically the same experience you shared here hahaha. i was feeling so stressed and overwhelmed and my sims definitely called out of work a lot :P
I love the new newborn and toddler phases. As a parent, they are SO realistic. I LOVE the newborn cry!

I had TRIPLETS and my parent sims had literally no time to do anything but care for the infants 😅 when they aged up I never thought I’d be so happy to have triplet toddlers 🤣
My daughter's name is April, and I can say the bond between baby / toddler & pets ( dog in our case ) is amazing
I love watching people play with the infants while I have an infant little sister irl and honestly the sims team made them so accurate it's amazing
😂 my sim have twin infants as well and the first couple of sim days was unreal ! Like I almost gave up from how overwhelming it was because I really wanted to enjoy the first impressions. Keep in mind I play on long lifespan so I’ll have infants for about 3 weeks ( there birthdays or coming up and I could cry happy tears ) 😂
As a mother of twin humans, I sympathize with your struggle 😂 it was very much like this when they were little.
I started a new legacy challenge when the pack came out and the couple had *triplets* while they still had a toddler. Thank goodness for family leave, there's no way the poor dad could have survived on his own lol

I loved watching all the milestones as they happened, but best part for me had to be the baby petting the cat TOO CUTE! This video brought a smile to my face thanks so much Kayla!
One time I had triplets and it was a nightmare! One baby would cry, then another. It was a never ending cycle!
This video was such a whirl wind of emotions, one second my hearts melting at the infant and cat interaction the next I’m stressing about the meteor. 😂
I am enjoying the pack so much. It has added so much depth to my stories !
Most people may not agree with me but for some reason I’m obsessed with infants. Haha. I love taking care of them and they aren’t too bad with me. They basically just eat and sleep their lives away lol

im SO excited about the legacy crossover I think its so much fun and a great idea to move forward after 10 gens!!
So I’m doing my first legacy challenge and my second child got an infant trait so apparently if you raise em really well you get a special trait. Ngl I felt pretty proud about it!

kayla tryna take pics of the baby is a good description of tryna get a pic of a bb in real life its always a mess trying to do that 😂😂😂
This series is absolutely adorable! I love it!
Omg now if they add pre-teens it’ll be complete! I like this family, and am looking forward to watching these kids grow up.🤗
I know it's the sims, but the first year of life is truly just surviving your infant lol. All the questions you ask in this video are legit, real life things we ask as parents lol
Tip: the stuff on his face is from trying a few foods in a row. They get food all over their face. To get rid of it click “clean up”
i had my sim have a science baby on her own and taking care of that kid was so hard i’m so glad she’s a toddler now so she can walk around.
I love this chaos!!!!! 😂 And that cat just melted my heart. Ohmygoodness!!!!
I absolutely can't wait to play with infants. Right now I'm playing a detective and I'm in love with it, I've had the pack for about a year now and never even tried it.
I have triplets with my two great Daddies and it is so fun, works my time management skills and challenges myself when it comes multitasking. I think the commands might be a little glitched, when it comes to executing actions but all in all it is fun.
Between two infants and a mischievous cat this house is chaos, and I love it
I love that you upload at the time you do now, because i can write comments early, instead of waiting until morning (where im from you upload very late in the evening)
I love the challenge of infants and the variety. its very true to my infant plus toddler experience. also my son learnt o run before he figured out sitting.
When I first bought the back and tried the new update, I hired a butler and a nanny service and it helped a little bit. However each time the infant cried, both parents, the butler AND the nanny would try to take care of the infant but NONE of the needs would get met… it was awful 😂😭 now I just have one parent who works and the other parent goes to work so it was a little easier
I always find it funny when lilsimsie talks in the first-person point of view when talking about her Sims.
I would love more generation stories added to the not so berry challenge with all the new packs and skills and jobs etc. You're the best and way more creative than me! lol

My Sim family recently got married and she got pregnant and she is a twin and so is her husband Sidney from high school pack. They had twin boys and now that they are infants they are stressed and struggling, because Sidney always has work and comes home drained, luckily Makayla is a stay at home mom( has written books, and makes videos and has a clothing store) so if it’s worth it lol but sometimes she feels she is a single parent.
I love the idea of a cross over!!! Honestly really excited for that!
"I'm building a death trap in this house." As if Simsie's Lets Play houses are ever *not* death traps... xD
My sim had triplets after the update came out, I have been fighting for my life even with two adult sims around
I think the thing that makes infants so difficult is just how fast their needs decay. It’s three red arrows, all the time. I’ll feed the infant, change their diaper, and put them to bed, and then by the time they fall asleep, their hunger is in the yellow again
I wish I could afford that pack so much. The Sims doesn't even seem worth playing without it (not just because base game infants are boring, but the milestones and relationship additions are such a step up).
This pack made the game so much more fun. There is so much.
The way I have “free” days Holidays with no traditions
My sim accidentally had twin infants and I don’t think I’ve ever gotten so frustrated while playing sims lol so overwhelming but honestly it makes it more real 😂

One of my legacy founders had twins and then found out that her husband was already married when he proposed to her, and he ran off with all my founder's money cuz he chose her for a marriage scam, and now she's stuck raising their infant twins alone
First time around trying out with the infants my sim had twins. Excitement and dismay but so cute. It's challenging because you can't do some things you would at the same time with twins in RL but didn't take me too long to get the hang of it and twins are adorable once they reach certain milestones they interact with one another.
I had similar happen to me. 😂 I made a couple pre-update, and then after the update: what do you know they have twin boys! Tiny apartment, expecting one: Sims 4 in all its glory went SYKE!
My first infants for any of my sims to have were twins and I did not feel bad choosing the calm traits to deal so I didn’t instantly stop playing with that household
