I cannot Afford a CrossRC XX10 T-Rex so I'm Building the Dinky Dino Steering and more
I make a custom steering link it reduce the toe-out and then add a new servo. Next I make a 3D printed battery tray.
This video is for 14 years old and older. These Rc vehicles are dangerous as there are fast moving parts and hot parts that can burn.

Progress! and nice steering fix. You could fit a couple batteries in there and run all day.

So near but so far from finished. House projects are a pain, I doing fences and the weather has brought at times to a crawl. The wood has been too wet to oil or to sunny and I cannot spend a lot of time out in that. I hope you can get back to your project soon.

Sorry to say a long way to go, once finished there would be over 50 parts designed on CAD. There is all the gun to be made.

They seem as good as other cheap ones, could do with more BEC voltage but I do not know if the other servo could take more. But it turns the steering OK better with a new servo arm, now had the right swing.

They seems about the same as other cheap ones. But I'm only running a low voltage as I do now know if the servo's I'm using on the gun can take a higher V. I will see when it's finished and had a full run.
