Seriously! I found one in a shop nearby....I immediately took it home. Absolutely life changing. It is the nicest single item of any kind that I have ever owned. It is absolutely astonishing how good it sounds and how exciting it is to play it. I've been practicing far more, far more motivated in all areas of my life somehow....I mean...I have better days at work just knowing I can go home and play the thing. Someone cuts me off in traffic? I just laugh and think about the cymbal I have at home.

Man, your playing is fantastically-tight and the ride is smooth and buttery. I gotta have one! Peace and love to you from Arkansas! P.S., my wife is from Dade City, so please eat some good Cuban food for us!

Great playing, great cymbal! Well done video! The engineer in me though was a little fatigued with the kick drum sound after awhile. It doesn’t need to be so loud, it sounds as though maybe the mic might be too far inside? In any case, your videos are well done 👍🏼😄

Nick Haldin I feel that completely! Thank you for the feedback! It’s seems to be the high mids poking out, especially over phone speakers. I was using a big fluffy beater so I may have been over compensating in EQ

My friend had a brand new one that wasn’t sharp at all. Maybe it’s was an era of the cymbal that was sharp.

Awesome playing! I own this ride and after comparing it to the sound on this video and others on KZread. I have to say I think this is a particularly good sounding one. It has a really solid dark crash sound that isn't "papery" like mine..... Wanna swap? 😜

Hey man, Loved the video! I have a 21 sabian Hot Ride atm that I feel is just slightly too heavy and high pitched and I am looking into something else. This thing sounds like magic! just the perfekt pitch and also not too hard/stiff stick definition (which some reinassance rides seem to have), this one is just smooth. How old is this cymbal and do you know the weight of it? Would love to get one very close to the one you got. Seems to work for every style of music :)

monoskons Thank you so much! I don’t really know how old it is but I got it from the guy who got it from the factory so I can try to find out for you. I haven’t weighed it which I can do for you as well if you’d like. Yeah man it’s butter for sure! Feels so good to hit.

@@buckydrum Hey man sorry for the late reply. Well if you could weigh it I'd love to get to know what the weight is. I'm guessing somewhere 2540-2560g when comparing to other reinassance's who's got the same pitch as this one. Peace!

monoskons All good! I’ll see if I can do that soon. Also I ended up dulling the edge because I cut myself pretty badly on it. It changed the sound a bit, maybe a hair less buttery but still sounds great. I think the modified edge really had a lot to do with the sound which slightly bums me out, but at least I can play it without fear.
