"I can't wait" by Kieran Kane, Kevin Welch & Fats Kaplin

My buddy Dave shared this song with me. There is NO video interpretation of the song on the net as of yet so I produced one today. Hope-filled lament...a song of promise and yearning. Thanks to Kieran Kane, Kevin Welch & Fats Kaplin for the fabulous song! I hope and pray that they are honored by this small production.

Someday we'll roll away the stone That we have carried for so long All our burdens will be gone And I can't wait We will find our way to An understanding of all views No prayer shall be refused I can't wait It seems we have gone too far And now we don't know where we are I believe we'll find a guiding star But I can't wait If faith is the final place Where all fears have been erased And the locks have fallen from the gates I can't wait Someday we'll roll away the stone That we have carried for so long All our burdens will be gone And I can't wait We will find our way to An understanding of all views No prayer shall be refused I can't wait

This song fits like your favorite pair of slippers you haven't wore in years. So comfortable, familiar. The harmony, concertina, finger picking and John Prine like arrangement, as well of a the message makes this a great song.

I just remembered this song and went back and watched the Episode of the Ranch where Rooster tells Beau he's gonna take over the Old McConnell ranch and the sadness you can see in Beau eyes when he hears that. After that I watched the episode where they celebrated Roosters life and I couldn't help to not cry. Rest in peace Rooster. You will be remembered
