"I can't wait" by Kieran Kane, Kevin Welch & Fats Kaplin
My buddy Dave shared this song with me. There is NO video interpretation of the song on the net as of yet so I produced one today. Hope-filled lament...a song of promise and yearning. Thanks to Kieran Kane, Kevin Welch & Fats Kaplin for the fabulous song! I hope and pray that they are honored by this small production.

Just finished se2 ep8 had to find the song. Such a damn good show.
Someday we'll roll away the stone That we have carried for so long All our burdens will be gone And I can't wait We will find our way to An understanding of all views No prayer shall be refused I can't wait It seems we have gone too far And now we don't know where we are I believe we'll find a guiding star But I can't wait If faith is the final place Where all fears have been erased And the locks have fallen from the gates I can't wait Someday we'll roll away the stone That we have carried for so long All our burdens will be gone And I can't wait We will find our way to An understanding of all views No prayer shall be refused I can't wait
Been a Kevin Welch fan for ages now, talk about a soul gut wrenching beautiful song, I want to leave this earth listening to this

Will you be touring down south (like in Florida) anytime soon? I would love to come and see you perform live. Thank you for your songs and the inspiration that they give.
Just a beautiful tune I've had stuck in my head for months now. Just plain beautiful in every sense. My granddaughter's gonna be visiting for the first time next week and I can tell you she will get to know this tune.
Such a beautiful song by Kieran Kane, Kevin Welch and Fats Kaplan. These guys are getting better as the years roll by. Magic.
He sounds like Don Williams. The whole thing has a very Don Williams sound as a mater of fact.. and thats a big compliment.

I said that when I heard it on the ranch
This song fits like your favorite pair of slippers you haven't wore in years. So comfortable, familiar. The harmony, concertina, finger picking and John Prine like arrangement, as well of a the message makes this a great song.

It is a masterpiece. 💖
these guys are true to heart and soul. seen them in hotchkiss colo and have enjoyed them ever sence
I just remembered this song and went back and watched the Episode of the Ranch where Rooster tells Beau he's gonna take over the Old McConnell ranch and the sadness you can see in Beau eyes when he hears that. After that I watched the episode where they celebrated Roosters life and I couldn't help to not cry. Rest in peace Rooster. You will be remembered

You have a sense of imagery very well thought out. Keep up the great work.
Lovely video and song. I heard it when I ran today.
Love this tune. When my mom was visiting I was learning a finger style version and she said it reminded her of the old hymn "Leaning On the Everlasting Arms."

I just heard it about a month back. Can't believe It. I'm also a JP fan, as well as so many others. So much talent in this world, and so much of it still unheard by many of us. 💞

This reminds me of something that Washington Phillips would have written and performed on a dulceola, circa 1932.
used at the end of story corps today on NPR
Check out a song called "Bright Blue Rose " by Irish songwriter Jimmy Mc Carthy....the melody here is very close
Top that

Shouldn't give such a neggie picture of mans stress seems they wish to put a bullet not a seed of knowledge in his head Troubles ones heart of discernment to his HONOUR
These have to be all accidental dislikes. I was listenin to Alice In Chains the other day and saw I ACCIDENTALLY disliked man in the box. Shit like that don’t happen... 🤠🤙🏻
