I can't wait for modder to get access to the update and generations. I can't play without woohoo wellness, ui cheats, custom traits and mccc (to name a few). Edit: the dine out mod! How could I forget that literal game changer?

Did not even realize Sims had a memory system or photobook memory system till you showed it. But i'll choose the mod b/c it looks much more indepth like you showed. Great Video as always.

MCCC is essential for me, both for cheats and story progression. (Even though we have Neighborhood Stories now, I prefer the MCCC system.) UI Cheats is another one. I'm also a big fan of Control Any Sim. It's really nice to be able to take control of my Sims' friends and dates when they go out somewhere, both to keep conversations more two-sided and to make sure the friend/date doesn't get distracted and wander off. Plus sometimes I like to grab random townies just to look at their traits and stuff. (That's how I found out that Santa is pansexual in my game.) Speaking of traits… More Traits In CAS, with a buttload of custom traits. Personalities in TS4 are too simple and don't have enough variety. Also the LGBT+ mod. I like the in-depth-ness of it, and it allows me to set ratios so that there are plenty of compatible potential love interests for my Sims. (From what I hear, they have a tendency to be disproportionately aromantic, which is both unrealistic and annoying when you're trying to find love.) I just wish it worked properly with the MCCC marriage system. I also use lots of CC, especially CAS. But I rely especially heavily on CC makeup. The Maxis makeup... just doesn't look good to me. The eyeliner is fine, and I use that a decent amount, but everything else... ehhhh.

I have so many zero and little ms. Sam mods for fixing and tweaking that integrate so well I forget they're there but, if I had to choose just a few: slice of life and woohoo wellness are some of my favorites and I can't live without. For cas, more traits, more cas slots and 'remove shoes while swimming' by bieschen (is that their name?) are game changers (finally I can put sandals on my sims on the swimsuit category) For building better build/buy and tool by twisted mexi are amazing

I think I could get rid of quite a few of my mods if I had to, but my top five mods to stay are MC Command Center, Basemental Drugs, SimRealists Sim National Bank, Scumbumbos Don't wash the dishes/prep food where you angry poop and Wicked or Wonderful Whims. One thing I don't really need, but simply don't want to play without are food mods though. Oni, Icemunmun and Littlbowbub have made cooking in the sims exciting for me again and I wouldn't want to miss that ever again. 😂

I tried to clear out my mods folder in preparation for the new update and I found out I also can’t live without MCCC and RPO. Also I am also hooked on Cc hair, eyelashes, and eye and skin replacements

I regret getting sims on console, the experience on pc is on a whole other lvl. But, I have too many packs now, to change🥺 It is like we are playing totally different games. I am however still addicted to playing😬

I can't play without mods either. Like stand still in cas, more columns, cc, wonderful whims for the attractiveness system, basemental drugs for my rebellious teens etc. ts4 is so boring without mods!

I've only recently started using mods, mostly because of your videos. I cant imagine going back to playing without mods

Im an avid modded player. I need several required mods to play (uicheats, mccc, stand still in case and more columns in cas) and then several fixes by various modders. Lumpinou's and pandasama mods are also a need, along with alot of littlemssams and Bienchens.

Dark UI Mod. If I could only have one mod, it would be that. Because being light sensitive, I literally can't play without it. Fortunately, I don't have to pick only one :) I keep it to QoL with mods, mccc being the only large one. Not for cheating, but to remove annoying autonomy like toilet pranks and add autonomu for things they normally won't do on their own. Then a bunch of small ones like auto thermostat and doorbell. Things I can't live without. I'd like to use wonderful whims, but the pregnancy settings always conflict with my MCCC settings, and I get unwanted accidents even if I line them up. I couldn't care less about CC. I'm all about the game play. Although I did get a CAS room background, due to the default blinding me.

Love kiko lashes! The ea “eyelash” remover is also handy

I’ll be playing vanilla until after the new EP has been released and mods are updated. It’s making me realize I need mods and cc. MCCC, RPO and Icemunmun are must haves.

I fight the air everytime I go back to console just to build & realize I wasted so much money on packs for console that I could’ve bought a PC with & had free mods with more gameplay changes. I started on console when it first dropped day one & had I listen to PC players I would have saved over $800. Don’t be me, my wife has nightmares every time I have to rebuy a pack for PC 😂😂 on sale of course but the MODS is what makes the game a GAME.

Agree! There have been some modders that have since been employed by EA. They need more though

MC Command Center and Wonderful Whims is what I use so far. I used to play with the Wicked Whims Mod, but decided that Tom Peeping was to much! I'm looking forward to your large mod video coming out. Have a great day!

You do know that window peepers can be switched off? Grab a snack and explore the settings, you can customize almost everything to suit your whims.

You can toggle for him to not show up. I hate that guy too. I’ve unalived him many times using the extreme violence mod but his ghost just goes and does the peeping 😂😆

I recently put The Sims 4 on my Steam Deck and literally the first thing I did was learn how to install mods while on Linux. I had never touched Linux before so I guess you can say my mod/cc addiction lead me to learn how to use Linux, haha. But I gotta say, it's a trip to be playing TS4 on a handheld system while my sims are getting it on via Wicked Whims 😅

I have a large number of LittleMissSam mods that are integrated into my game so much, I forget they are mods. That's what I love about her mods. A lot of mods will break next week. Some of them might take a while to fix. As much as I'm looking forward to the pack, I'm dreading having no mods!

Modders and cc creators pretty much save this game. T-T I download CC at the same level as a shopaholic shops. Even if I haven't played for months. 15GB cc folder. Tried to clean up a bit days ago and ended up downloading more than I cleaned. Also, any plans for a discord server? 😗

But it makes so fun watching you and now I am just starting to explore mods and only starting playing the Sims last year lol

I could play TS4 without custom CAS, but I wouldn’t want to. I do use a lot of official CAS, but I do love custome hairstyles, lashes, freckles, and more.

Im a console player. We dont get mods 😭. Its so hard to do anything yet im addicted to the sims 23yrs on lol

Ended up dropping TS4 for a couple years (started playing in 2017, then stopped around 6 months later) and picked it up again late 2019 from some mods i came across, one which change the look of sims & make them non-human races essentially. Along with MCCC, WW & some few others, ended up getting back into TS4 & been playing it at a decent rate since then, along with other ones i've picked up over the years. So yeah, if it weren't for the mods i use, i wouldn't be playing it much at all & same thing for others. Without that good old user made content, many of us wouldn't be playing it as much, or at all anymore

I love the childbirth mod by panda Sama. I couldn't watch my Sims in the birth machine again after playing with that

I think we just get so spoiled with the amount and quality of mods for Sims 4 that we constantly play with them. It's like that for the older games too. There's just so many for 4 that they have created with makes it awesome to play. Even though I love the game without them, it's even more fun with these great mods

I admire people who can just rawdog the Sims 4 but there really is no going back once you've started modding it.

All of the above are my must have's tbh, but recently my favorite mods are the ones that include posing, because this way I make realistic photos for my sims to create a visual memory system for myself (using a third party sim to take pictures using the camera and tripod) For example - graduation family photo, prom, wedding photoshoots, pregnancy photoshoots, proposals, family vacations and events, also awards winning with Get Famous! I love doing a red carpet photo of the sim or a couple photo! It takes forever from gameplay but for my liking it's worth it!! I wonder how modders will do new ones including infants 🤔😍

I've never used mods, I'm not even sure how. But I think MC Command Center sounds like something I'd like.

Lately I've been addicted to the pregnancy mod 😹😹😹 I love watching them cuss as they are waiting to dilate 🤣

Whiny Brit re: (03:22) There are lot of great mods and cc out there, but as for 'must-haves' - without MCCC, wouldn't even bother. Part of MCCC's appeal is being able to set up and finish filming more quickly, but it's useful in general.

Will be interesting to see what happens with the Memory Mod when Growing Together comes out! I hope (and almost expect, cuz Lumpinou is an awesome modder) that it will be able to be combined/work with Milestones in some way.

I wouldn’t say this is my top mod ever because this is quite a small mod- it literally has one purpose. But I like university gameplay and hate how long it takes to do homework - to the point where you sim can’t do anything but school. So LittleMsSams faster homework is a must for me!

I actually agree with you, I got bored with the Sims 4, I think previous versions, like the Sims 2, were actually way better, I think EA is just milking us for money, but don't give us proper gameplay. I was thinking about selling my Sims 4 collection, because I didn't play it for months, since Cottage living came out. But with mods, the game is just fun again, so now, when I'm waiting for update for all my mods, I'm just stressed out, I'm so used to play with WW and Woohoo Wellness, not because of nudity, but diseases, pregnancy even tho you didn't try for it... And all those stuff.. I just miss it. I'M FAIRLY ADDICTED

I’ve been playing for a while now just the base game with no CC or mods and I don’t have a problem lol BUT I do want to get some CC and mods now to spice things up I am used to the game without mods I’ve been playing since the first game I’ve always been addicted to just the gameplay even without the mods or CC

Would you be able to name the overlays you show in the CAS portion of the video? I'm very new to Sims 4 (and modding) and the realistic skin overlay looked awesome!

I would never play The Sims 4 without Mods.... the CC alone is needed for the aesthetic but most gameplay mods I use add the life to the basegame =)

I can't remember if you play Sims 4 on Mac or PC, but when it comes to cheating, if you entered it wrong, just press the up arrow to bring up the last cheat you put in and edit it, if need be.

Are you not looking forward to Growing Together EP? That looks like it has a lot of good content from the livestream they showed.

Before i found mods and got an actual gaming computer i did not play it more then a few times a month to every 3 months.

I absolutely can't play without rvsn and pandasama mods. Especially for family gameplay they have the best build buy to include the Tod's and kids more! Omg cannot wait for infants! The cc and mods are gonna be amazing I already know it! Otherwise I also play with all these mods as well! I can't not 🤣🤣

I played the sims when i was younger and i never used mods, i just downloaded ts4 and a sload of mods and i would never go back !!

My sister plays without it and I'm like I don't see how you do it or don't use cc maxis do have good stuff but the ea stuff is so boring and plain to me so dull well some of it not all but still I need cc to add that spice

I cannot, will not, play without MCCC, woohoo wellness, or CAS cc. There are others I love, but the aforementioned mods are necessary to make TS4 even playable for me.

My Sim family (1 adult 2 kids 2 toddlers and one infant) are living the dream. Extra tiny bedrooms. One bath and apparently my mods are causing mayhem. Everyone is starving to death and I can't figure out which one it is! 😤

I also can’t play without RPO and MCCC, I tried once, and I stopped right away. With the update coming up, I won’t play until the mods I like are fix.

Does anyone know if there's a mod where you take a screenshot while playing (ex: getting a perfect ss of your sim graduating) and are able to make it into a picture to hang on the wall in the game? I hate staging sims to take a photo as it takes forever and is a pain in the butt.

It won't work with existing screenshots, but Ravasheen's full control camera mod might do what you want for future pictures. I think the only way to use screenshots is to turn them into custom content artwork.

I love MCCC but it’s impossible to play with it because my game gets so laggy

I tried to download mc command center once, and somehow my game got messed up. All the buildings in my game disappeared and I had to start a new save file. I don't know what I did wrong. I really want to have mods, but I don't want to ruin my game again.

If I boot up Sims 4 and certain mods are out-of-date and don't work then the game is unplayable until I fix them x)

Is UI cheats fixed I wonder...I had to delete it from my game because it was conflicting with another mod. My favorite mod that I couldn't play without is definitely MCCC. I also love the pregnancy and wellness mod.

@@indiafox5786 If it makes you feel better, I have a gazillion mods and it's all worked together great. With some of the comments on Patreon, I actually had a whole Twitter conversation with one of the people who commented there (and was pretty upset). After some back and forth of trying to figure out what the problem was, they tried it again and it worked. The problem seems to have been they just needed to reset their Sims 4 folder. So maybe try that? Reset your Sims 4 folder, put everything back in (saves, Tray files, Screenshots and Mods), delete the localthumbscache file, then put it in?

@@Azmina_the_warlock I hope it does. Besides MCCC, it's like THE mod 😅 TwistedMexi also added a new Conflict Detector to his Better Exceptions mod. In case you don't know about it, it's helpful but it's *really* broad. It flags each mod that uses the same resources, even if they don't truly conflict. For example, two mods could be changing the same resource files for gardening, but one alters code for how fast plants grow, and the other alters code that prevents weeds. They'll come up as a "conflict", even though they don't. And some mods, like Lumpinou's RPO mod, will have all their sub-modules come up as conflicts, but it's not a real one where they're breaking each other. TwistedMexi said it'll do this, but for what you're dealing with, if it lists UI Cheats in there, you might be able to see which mods you have that are using the same resource files, to help you narrow it down. Sorry for the wall of text, lol. I just hate the 50/50 method, and if there's any shortcuts, I wanted to let you know.

Why are there people trying to play ts4 on console? Well, in a way you can, but really you can't. Console players should consider playing ts3 which gives you so much more bang for your buck and is quite playable without mods. The reason why I choose ts4 over ts3 are the mods. Let's start with wicked whims, the Sacrificial mods, the SpinningPlumbob mods and so forth. TS4 basically is a good example for the depraved attitude of the Evil Assembly. They obviously enjoy ruining their franchises one by one. I am so much looking forward to LBY.

I don't know how with all of these stretch marks, birthmarks, body hair, etc they've added into the game, they haven't added actual eyelashes yet. The eyelashes in game now are TERRIBLE and turns me off from making sims at all.

Frankk's Language mod, MC Command Center, WW, UI Cheats, More Cas Columns, (rather pretty much all of Weerbesu's mods.) Little Ms. Sam's mods, KawaiiStacie's mods, etc. Yea there are too many that are a true need for me. Maybe one day I will pair them down and see if I can play with 4 or 5 but I doubt it.
