Yeah, While I normally would never take this position, considering her circumstances, it seems just reasonable that she would be dating a 14 year old when she was 25. Of course it’s not fair to the child, but considering that Lauren spent the first 8 years of her life being brutally abused and locked in a closet, that’s EXACTLY where I would expect her to mentally be at 25 years old. She pretty much was still a child herself at the time too. So, please don’t come for me ya’ll- I know 2 wrongs don’t make a right, but to me, she wasn’t necessarily being ABUSIVE towards the girl. I feel like she was just acting immaturely and surely that’s understandable given her God-awful circumstances.

I mean, I know it’s common for victims of abuse to go on to become abusers themselves. However, I just don’t feel comfortable holding someone like her to the same legal definition of adulthood as everyone else. There’s a big difference (to me anyway) of a person seeking minors out to exploit or control them and someone who seeks out minors merely because that is exactly who they actually can relate with. But anybody who listens and has ever heard country music, especially in my grandparents days as a child they would probably Listen to country music to drown out dirt sibling, screaming or whoever is screaming so I don’t think it’s a matter of an experience that happened that is horrible in your childhood I just think that if you don’t like country music, you just don’t like it in general you know and yeah, lots of people associate country music with a tool used to drowned out screaming and yelling and that

But look, I don’t really think that any kid should be abused at home I mean, whether you’re being abused or being bullied you know at school or being cyber bullied online by other kids Of course, most parents would want to put on a bunch of country music to drowned out their sounds and their screaming and yelling, but then the best thing to do is you get to fight with your child and you have calm down and the best thing to do shut it off And go talk to them In a positive income matter, you know

  • @leighhoppins9273

As I got older, though, I started to develop new interest in music and new interest in singers like I really started to develop a real liking for Kelly Clarkson and Katy Perry and all that all of those pop singers you know so I started to distance Myself from country music because I like the sound and style of the music that Kelly Clarkson would sing and Katy Perry and all that So yeah, but I always knew in my heart that you know country singers do sing, and lots of them are very, very good singers and when these single boy, you can tell that they really put a lot of their heart and their soul into their music and lots of them tell a very, very, very, very, very good story with their music You know So yeah, but Sudo kill Kirson and Katy Perry and all that and I guess there are a lot of positives about country music and like I said the only positives that I can ever see the heart and soul they put into their music so I’m not judging them. I’m not saying it’s horrible And that’s not worth listening to because I know a lot of people still listening to old country music Like some people that are my age and younger that are listening to the old Willie Road house there’s still listening to Johnny Cash And Stompin Tom you know the old classic that their grandparents would’ve listened to you know they listen to it when they’re younger than me and I am 31 years old Country music is kind of mixed between country and pop music or country music/music. It’s usually not country on its own. It’s Mixed with something else as well, but you can tell that it’s still country but it’s not as like old-school fashion as it was 70 or 80 years ago you know

Only until 2031 then they get out of jail 😡 and the "friends" who also abused her were never charged. Despicable. Ontop of that they couldn't charge the parents with any sexual abuse charges, despite the multitudes of evidence AND Lauren needing surgery, because it was deemed too traumatizing for Lauren to appear in court against them. Absolute failure of the system, yet again.

This is so screwed up ....there's nothing productive about her setting up here and talking about what are symptoms of complex PTSD, (especially if nobody is going to explain that these are symptoms of complex PTSD what is productive about this?)there's also no point in Dr Phil asking her to explain her trauma and being puzzled by it as if a licensed professional hasn't seen PTSD over and over...... All of the comments saying " I'm so surprised she didn't develop something".... Jesus Christ stop watching Dr Phil and read a book or at least watch somebody who's going to give you some information.... She clearly does suffer from PTSD the symptoms she's describing the night terrors reliving the trauma there was a much simpler, and clear away for Dr Phil to bring this woman on and discuss her PTSD without making it into some strange spectacle thousands of us suffer with complex PTSD and PTSD it's not some crazy thing Dr Phil doesn't know about , but it is kind of insane that all of you don't know about it.......
