The lore always fr hit hard, I didn’t really have any mini figures so I used the Lego Trex 3 in 1 as my main character of any stories, it would interact and fight with other 3 in 1 sets, and when I saw them… *Unfit for purpose…* I would tear them apart and Frankenstein them into the T. rex. I still have it today, sitting in my dresser drawer, it has the head of a triceratops, red armor scales on its legs, an elongated arm with a “metal” bar as armor and a robot arm with a pincer, it also had lasers on the sides of its head but they fell apart and didn’t hang on very well, it’s tail also has like 2-3 more segments added along with a spiked club tail, it’s main body doesn’t hold together well, mainly due to poor design so I had to improvise, the front belly needed Lego 1X2s to hold it together from the bottom, and the Butt where the tail connected was missing a bunch of pieces so it looks like it’s wearing an unrendered diaper lmao

This explanation may be a stretch but according to google "the fictional location of Bikini Bottom is based on a very real place, the seabed surrounding Bikini Atoll, and site of American nuclear weapons testing. Between 1946 and 1958, the U.S. government detonated 67 nuclear weapons on these islands." So maybe SpongeBob encountered enough leftover plutonium to remake a demon core 🤷
