@@absolumzenith899 I used the term "they" loosely. Meaning the editor of the video, etc. That said, I wouldn't say Joe's lick at the beginning wasn't anything like Cliffs of Dover. There was a slight similarity, but that's besides the point of my post. My point is that the OP said he hears Cliffs of Dover licks and I'm like...well, yeah, duh.

For those unaware, the last guitar is what they call a B-Bender. When the neck is moved downward, it causes the b string to go up in pitch. Jimmy Page was well known for using one.

The strap is held in place by the strap button, the strap button is what actually moves up an down, its connected to a contraption inside the guitar that's connected to the B string.

I met Joe a couple of years ago in Omaha, NE at Hargiss Stringed Instruments. I walked into the shop and Joe was sitting by the counter playing a vintage dobro. He spoke with everyone there as equals without any pretense or arrogance whatsoever - as though we were all just a bunch of guys hanging out at the guitar shop. He really is just as humble and friendly as any video I've ever seen of him. He puts on no heirs and treats everyone with respect. GREAT GUY!! (And he made arrangements for about ten really GOOD seats at his concert that evening. BONUS!)

Whenever you think you aren't loved... Remember the ultimate sacrifice was for love! ENDING YOUR LIFE IS NEVER THE ANSWER! For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 KJV The wages of sin is death (hell) but Jesus paid our debt on the cross, for our salvation! We must turn to God and away from our sinful ways, Confess Jesus is Lord and believe with our hearts that he was risen from the dead by God, and we must be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son and The Holy Spirit and live by His word and Commandments! @@lueyteledeluxe7457 And don't shit on that "Just an Epiphone Sig" because it's a great guitar in its' own right, regardless of whose name is on it, both sig and on the headstock. Remember that Epiphone pretty much kept Gibson alive for the past nearly 2 decades, especially during their financial restructuring, when Epi were producing guitars as good, if not at times better quality than what Gibson was producing...especially the MIJ Elitist models, while Gibson under Henry J. was often pumping out guitars with questionable at best QC; basically expensive firewood. Epis were so good during that period that Gibson halted production on them because they were totally being outdone...and now with Epi's Inspired By Gibson line, including this JB Sig, they're doing it again.

Oh dude, I forgot about Joe Bonamasa! I first heard him during my thrid deployment to Iraq through this pen pal thing that a group of civilians were part of that would send care packages of food, hygiene products, and letters to soldiers overseas, and some of them will pick a random soldier to start a correspondence with, and so this nice lady who was a native American from MI I believe it was, atrted writing me and I wrote her back and I mentioned to her that I played guitar and told her the music I like to play and listen to, and she sent me a Joe Bonamasa CD and I listened to that CD a ton over there. When we would go on mission it was one of the CDs that we would hook up to the J-box inside of the tank turret (the J-box is basically a comms box that allows the driver, loader, gunner, and tank commander/TC to talk to each other inside the tank, and we can also communicate with other tanks), and there is a little trick you can do that can wire music into the headsets of the crew, and the crew is only able to hear it, which is what you want because music isn't allowed in military vehicles, especially downrange while on mission, but you _gotta_ have theme music for when you're doing cool tanker sht, like popping off machine guns or blowing up stuff with the main gun, or rolling over cars, and for when you're not doing cool tanker sht, like rolling up and down the same route for a minimum of 8hrs a day and night, or doing these boring ass stakeout missions where you just sit in one spot for hours on end; we listened to everything from Cryptopsy to Messhugah to Master P to Gucci Mane, and of course Joey B 🤙🏻

GREAT GUY!!
