This is sick! The first deck I tried for this set was a much worse version of this with bibarel and I went 0 and 4 but I like how this fixes a lot of the issues I was having. Appreciate the content!

I’ve been waiting months to play BLOOD FORRETRESS, it was my original idea for this But I much prefer mist over jet, and I’m using legacy to offset the prize trade, and 7 switches. It pretty nasty tbh Also 4 bravery charm, and more penny and supporter retrieval cards

I play a similar list but i also opted for a radiant zard because 250 and defiance band is 280 and it is so good against some decks and also a one price attacker can ofsett the trade.

@@Marcus7339 Bloodmoon doesn't have an ability due to the Iron Thorns. He'd have to manually attach 5 energy to it to attack with it. Letting him knock out a Mew accomplishes nothing against an Iron Thorns deck.

I think most decks will replace all Prof Research with Carmine. I've already done it. 2 less cards is worth the broken-ness of being able to do it on Turn 1.

Pure Iron Thorns deck doesn’t seem too viable. It seems more easy to play around than Snorlax stall. I think people will figure out a better and more annoying way to play iron thorns though.

Should I build this deck? Or is it a meme deck?

@@nickfanzo I played it at locals today. I went 1-2 (small turnout). The deck is fun and fast I was missing a few cards so it wasn’t the exact same. I only had 1 iron valiant and 1 switch cart. Swapped for an extra pineco and 3 switches

To me it’s better to build it with more tank and less damage since it can’t reach 280 naturally, and all the tech just over complicates it, go for consistency with pennys and bravery charms instead

I think you were overthinking the end of the Iron Thorns matchup because it seemed you forgot about Ursaluna’s reduced energy cost and ability to 1 hit KO a thorns.

There's 2 Iron Valiant ex in the deck that can use the tool to give them free retreat cost.

Because there is literally zero reason to ever need to evolve three Forretress, you only want to blow up one.
