    I HATE ads in all forms, but especially youtube's midroll ads and sponsored ads in yt videos. Your Yellowstone ads, however, tell a story, they fit the theme of your show, they produce an extra drink, and they are the best thing an ad can be: indistinguishable from what you wanted to watch in the first place. Well done.

  • @kareningram6093

    I think one of my fav things about your Yellowstone ads is that it doesn't feel like an ad; it feels like bonus content. I hope the people at Yellowstone are pleased with your efforts, cause I sure am.

    The "secret" to all our Long Islands and many other drinks is the Lemon Sour (also Sweet & Sour) mix you can buy in almost any liquor store . Since getting fresh lemon juice takes forever and is costly. Its what gives it the sourness that masks the liquor. Also no one drinks the Truly Berry Limeade, literally everyone hates it and I dont think I've made more than one since it was introduced. The Henny Hustle, Long Island Iced Tea, Blue Hawaiian, & Citron Crush our the drinks we probably sell the most. Love your content and keep up the great work!!!

    My friends and I back in high-school used to buy a bag of shredded ice and go to taco bell and buy a good amount of Baja blast. We'd mix them together in large cups and pour tequila in it, making a poor man's margarita that we'd drink while eating taco bell. You have to put just the right amounts of each ingredient, but if done right, it's great, especially with taco bell.

    If Greg and Leandro have taught us anything it’s that when there are no more cocktails to teach and no more gadgets to review, a drinks KZreadr will eventually take the weight of the world on their shoulders and descend slowly into total madness, and now I’m worried about Anders Eriksen.

    To really get that blue razz flavor, you could potentially use UV Blue instead of the brandy. It’s 30% ABV so just subbing the normal vodka with it is probably not a good idea. Tbh I’m not a fan of UV but it nails the artificial flavor if that’s what you’re aiming for

    Idea for another drink matrix: Daiquiri! It seems like there are soooo many ratios people use (10:3:2, 8:4:3, 8:2:1, 6:2:1, 4:2:1, 3:2:1, etc). You could matrix different ratios against different rums. I suggest this because I kind of want to do it, but not get hammered. But you getting hammered is a sacrifice I might be willing to make!

    You should soak a bunch of different things in vodka for a week and see what the worst and best is. I've been doing it with my friends for the last few hangouts we've had and the "best" ones have been rainbow nerds, sour patch watermelon, and to a lesser extent, Tootsie rolls. The worst is tied between Barbecue pork rinds and potato chips, which were both somehow worse than Kaoliang wine, which I went to New Jersey to get and force them to drink as well.

    Having worked at a carpet place that dealt with the events industry. The weirdest conversations about different shades of colors would ping most people's gaydar if heard without the context. Trying to find colors without a Pantone color code with customers leads to some interesting conversations to say the least. Two straight guys talking about shades of purple and having 20 or more different variations that are all almost the same is pretty weird.

    I'll always argue that Dew is a good soda for mixed drinks that use soda, I've been doing this for years before the first official dew cocktails started popping up. It's not exactly Sprite, but could stand in well in an AMF, especially when you're going for a flavored AMF. Dew's marketing is also insane, we've had multiple restaurants with their own limited drink, multiple fast food chains with their own limited drinks, and multiple convenience store chains with their own limited drinks, and some products seem to be somewhat regional and somewhat store-limited, then on top of that we have some restaurants doing cocktails, and somehow PepsiCo is making it work.

    I used to work at Buffalo Wild Wings for 4 years and my advice with that place is easy and simple to remember: Just don't. They had a margarita that was made with Mountain Dew and garnished with a mini slim jim. All it needed was a dorito rim coating.

    I work at olive garden and would love to see what you think of the drinks we serve. More so I would like to see how you would improve them. I don't think any of them are particularly unique like some you have done but still. Our most popular drinks are probably our green apple or watermelon sangrias and maybe the Italian margarita or the Italian rum punch. what makes them Italian you ask? The same thing that makes our food Italian. Nothing. lol

    With the second drink, would a strawberry or cherry syrup instead of the simple get you in the correct color direction without becoming too sweet?

  • @fattymcbastard6536

    @fattymcbastard6536

    Well strawberry syrup in an otherwise colorless cocktail will turn it a weak/pale red, so I can't see it altering the color of Greg's muddy brown drink very much. However a cherry syrup made with very ripe black cherries oughta do it, I would think. If you're worried about too sweet, then splurge on a bottle of pure cherry juice, or you could even go with sour cherry juice, which you could sweeten for balance.

    It's funny that he mentioned the "citrus-less citric acid" idea. I've seen this in a few places actually, usually in the form of a mix of citric and malic acid. Drink in Boston, Jeff Morganthaler's old bar, keeps this on hand as an additive to throw into drinks, and I've seen them use it in really, really interesting ways.
