The Jojolands opening you watched here was released a year ago. Part 9 manga hadn't even begun back then. All we had was some teasers. The same person that made this opening made another version of it a few months later, featuring actual part 9 characters.

Part 7 and 8 absolutely GOATed, I definitely recommend reading them

There are SFX versions of those first two opening songs that’s re slightly different if your interested. Also there are plenty of very good themes to go along with them

In Part 7 & 8 there is another power system introduced if that helps bring hype. And it even is used both independently and cooperatively to Stands.

Vettis (an animator) made a 3d animated version of the Holy Steel intro, its really good

Jojolands is now original manga, the opening was made before it came out so don't expect it to be about it.

You should watch some of the other fan made content such as “[GREAT DAYS] but its the ultimate jojo op” which combined the visuals of every opening into one while using the song from part 4 diamond is unbreakable opening 3

the MC is johnny who is an alternate universe version of jonathan his real name is jonathan but he changed it to the nickname johnny the whole part happens in a different universe

Fiy, Stands aren’t as important in the story than previous parts. Now there are also new kinds of powers/characters. So yeah, the author did change the place of Stands during this reset, and you’d like it.

Fans be something else for real. Gwinn made an entire soundtrack for Part 7. Like if the anime was out and the studio released all the songs used in the anime.

I personally recommend the manga. I genuinely think it's good enough to justify not waiting for the anime. I say the same things about Chainsaw Man. Those 2 are just top 5 favorite manga for me, so I'm obviously biased 😅

⚠️If you don't start the manga you have to avoid Steel Ball Run spoilers because people ain't even trying not to spoil it. And SBR can be spoiled hard. You'll kick yourself if you get spoiled. Part 8 is harder to spoil but SBR ending spoilers are hard to avoid.

Part 7,8, and 9 are the original joestars in another universe after pucci reset it. Its never states this but it is what happens. Part 7 is Jonathan and Zepelli, Part 8 is Josuke, and part 9 is Giorno all in an alternate universe!

Am i out of line for saying that Holy Steel is better than about half of the actual Jojo ops... And that for me the Go Beyond one is actually better than all of them imo... I know that's Crazy, but... Shit, it just goes soooo hardd
