Jinbei is this show's manliest man. He's just too cool. A different kind of cool like Zoro, Sanji etc. He is cool without being conceited. He is a very noble man who is always respectful. The only one who could challenge him in that aspect is Katakuri.

It's not just someone who can kill him. It's someone who wants to be a Pirate King as well. So Jimbe did not just insult Big Mom in front of all her kids by leaving her crew without giving any lifespan, he also said she ain't gonna be king. It's not just slap with regular wet towel but one that is full of piss.

Well, he's the same guy who did basically told to BOTH Kaido and Big Mom to go fuck themselves and blatantly remarked that HE will be the king of pirates, even though he was standing before two actual legends of the pirate era and definetely two of the most dangerous and strong pirates in the whole world. You can't expect him to not to be chill and laughing off his own ass at this point, in hindsight xD

I have so much respect for Jinbei. He is a man among men. He's honest, respectful, loyal, and knows where he's needed the most. He fills a more mature role that Zoro can't quite fill for Luffy. Zoro has developed into a strong right hand that helps Luffy keep the crew in line where the other crew members don't quite have the iron will to pull through on tough decisions in some situations (like Usopp at Water 7). Jinbei is much older and more experienced and he's able to provide Luffy the wisdom he needs and have his back when Luffy needs someone to help him up in a hard time (like after Ace died). Luffy, despite very generally spastic, idiotic and immature, does get serious and listens when things come down to it which is what will help him become King of the Pirates with Zoro and Jinbei at his side.

@abbasalqattan2759 Imu's "fear" of Joyboy is more metaphorical not literal. In a straight up fight Imu is washing Joyboy. What makes Joyboy so dangerous to him. Is because of his influence on the world around him. The title of Pirate King is nothing to him and Imu sees everyone as dogs that are beneath him by default. If you are high enough status to be a Yonko or an Admiral and you're name isn't Buggy. You are not going to fear the Pirate King. Even Roger in his prime didn't want to have to outright fight the weakest Yonko Big Mom for the poneglyph if he didn't have to.

So glad he is officially part of the crew now and traveling with the straw hats. I really loved his character since impel down, wish he joined then lol

@@enderborn6860 i'm not even sure if anyone else is really officially gonna joins the strawhats directly. Luffy said in the beginning that he wants a crew of about 10 members. Knowing Oda he will probably stick to 10 members and everyone else can only be a part of the fleet like Bartolomeo etc.. Considering all that Yamato might become a part of the fleet with her own kickass crew. And Vivi will most probably take over the country and never officially join. Carot who I would like to see as a member as well will most certainly not join either (not gonna say too much about her to avoid spoilers from the manga).

Jenbie and brook both have the coldest moments in this arcs against big mom.

Jimbei has to be the biggest gigachad in One Piece for this. He knows Big Mom would roll him in a fight, but he had ZERO fear of her. All he had in his heart was absolute loyalty and devotion to his new captain.

Big Mom: tries to scare Jinbei Jinbei: scares Big Mom by not getting scared 💀

Zero fear in front of the largest Yonko Crew💀💀

Jinbe basically said "Fuck you" in the most polite way possible.

For those who is wondering why Big Mom's powers didnt work on Jimbe. Her "life steal" power only works if the person is scared of losing their life or allowed themselves to be intimidated by big mom. In this scene, it showed that Jimbe's loyalty to Luffy is so strong that his own life is meaningless to him, he is willing to give up his life for something greater which is being part of the Straw hat crew. Him joining this way had so much impact than just him boarding the ship.

Jimbei, a true man. Modern society says that man don't have a male role model anymore, i say that they are in stories like these showing us how it's done.

Jimbei has more nerve than a whole fleet of Marines.

What I like is he doesn't deny what she is,she is a Yonko and he dosent deny or call her something less,but saying even though she is he isn't afraid is just badass.

Episode 833 Jimbei: I can't be intimidated by a mere Emperor of the sea! Episode 1086 Jimbei: I fear Nami.

The most loyal crew member knowing Luffy in less time than anyone. Miles above Zoro and Sanji. Saved Luffy multiple times since Impel Down - and he wasnt even part of the crew til Wano. Luffy wasnt his captain until Wano. Let that sink in. Jimbei found ships when Magellan stranded them on Impel Down. Helped Luffy reach the podium in Marineford, carried almost dead Luffy out of battlefield and slapped some sense into him after Ace's death. Gave his blood to dying Luffy even though it was taboo in Fishman Island. Selflessly sacrificed himself and his former crew so Luffy and others could escape Whole Cake Island. Never hit Luffy, never threatened him, never looked down on him, never said no to an order, never failed to carry out an order, never disrespected him in any way. Hes a warlord for crying out loud but he humbled himself for Luffy. And of course this scene..sorry but hes the most loyal crewmember.

Jinbei, Zoro, Sanji and Nami are the characters that respect Luffy whilst also knowing he needs their guidance from time to time. Their ultimate loyalty to him manifests in how they act more like parents, an uncle or a stern big brother to him when it's needed. They're the steady hands pushing him up towards the summit
