    For me it's that my family is still catching up on bills because we went through a bad financial spot a few years back, and I'm 15. So I just have to eat what is bought, because I'm not gonna make my parents pay extra for me trying to eat healthier, when we're already broke.

    Kidney beans, oatmeal, onions, carrots, cabbage, frozen vegatables, canned tomatoes, hell most canned stuff, squash/sunflower/ pumpkin seeds, rapeseed oil, wholegrain pasta, rye bread, milk, eggs etc. Healthy, cheap and can be served very tasty. All way less than 2 dollars a pack (hell even less than 1 for some) at least where I live (Denmark) and covers almost, if not all vitamin/minerals.

    When I was a trainer I used to help people calculate what plan they could afford. One question I would always ask is how often do they eat out this would also include fast food and how much they spent. Most of the time they would say between $20-$45/day Then I would multiply that by 5 then by 52 then then divide it by 12 and showed them how much they were spending per week, per month, and per year on eating out and fast food. Once they saw how much they spent they saw that they could not only afford training, but also afford a healthier more sustainable diet.

    A so-called "balanced diet' is why everyone in the US is fat, because it's full of non-essential carbohydrates. Fasting is not starving yourself, rather an effective tool to control calories and lose weight. Anyone giving advice should know this.

  • @MaddenMaster843

    @MaddenMaster843

    If fasting works for you then keep doing it, it works because you eat less calories than you burn. Some people will cheat on a fast and some people can eat enough at one meal than they burn all day. Find something that allows you to eat less calories than you burn if weight loss is your goal.

    @@MaddenMaster843 more importantly, control the number of times you eat in a day, since it's your spike insulin every time you that triggers the body to store away excess fat.

  • @MaddenMaster843

    genius2005 yea that’s true and certain foods cause larger insulin spike. the less calories you eat the less fat can be stored per day. The more active you are the more calories you will burn in a day. Your body will store some of the calories away as fat or top off glycogen as needed, if you are in a calorie deficit you force your body to have to use those calories that were stored away quicker than you can store new ones.

    genius2005 if you burn 2500cal a day if your fasting it’s hard to eat 2500 in one meal lol. Some people get extremely hungry and start snacking all day and eat 3500 calories and think that’s ok cuz they are a huge meal once a day.

    Other than the fact that most of the human population can't fully digest milk, it's great for you. Why do you insist on dying on that hill? Literally, every major dietetics organization around the world have said that a vegan diet is perfectly healthy and reduces poor health outcomes. None of those same experts have made that argument for paleo, keto, cleansing etc. Are you now no longer capable of understanding lactose intolerance and atherosclerosis because you choose to eat meat? The data that the experts use is out there and it is clear. Your issues with trolling veganism are actually promoting ignorance. You are encouraging people to find a way to eat something they can't digest by spending more money on predigested processed products and very expensive lactose-free processed products. That's not helpful to folks who broke.
