I still listen to this song, it's a bop. For people wondering why they're not popular anymore, the leader (the guy in the sun glasses) was sick so they stopped promoting early on in their career. He said that he's always felt sorry towards them because they could've just left him out and promoted on their own but they chose to wait for him.

Not all singers recognize each other - each has their own stage and it all depends on when they came out. In the ICSYV episode of Wheesung, the first guy he eliminated was his idol from 15 years ago, Kim Jun Young, the vocalist of Juniper - he only recognized him after he introduced a little bit of himself and started his song. Wheesung was so apologetic that he had to bow to him.

Even i know this song.. so many idols in the past sang to this and to see people not recognize them is so heartbreaking even more after hearing their hardships. Their voices harmonize so well. I remember being so in love with this song 💕

It's not that they weren't recognized, one of their member was sick and they decided not to promote without him. I believe that was explained in the episode after they singed.

진짜 1집 수록곡 in my bed는 국내에서 다신 나올 수 없는 90년 대 정통 흑인음악이다.

이노래가 처음 나왔을때 들을때마다 행복했던 기억이난다. 노래가 참 감동적이다 .. 진짜 닳도록 들었었는데 .. 그때생각나서 울컥.. 좋았다 그때😢

I love this performance. I've replayed it at least 100 times. I am so shook by their harmonizing, they have so much swag. Fighting Oppa!!!

When our groups and us grow older, I want to feel the nostalgia whenever I hear their songs that will bring me back to today, to the present where I am now. One day, I hope for their music to bring back great memories of when we were young. I'm crying just thinking about it...😢

I miss old school music flava like this real talent SoulStar. Amazing, smooth, soulful and beautiful harmonies this is the kind of music that gives you a sense of inner peace and just puts a smile on your face. Their screaming reaction is kinda a of annoying man if i was there i'll just close my eyes and smile. You don't have to be recognised by Idols to know you guys are talented your fans recognised, remembered and have been awaiting for your comeback. I don't think so. Considering that they've been on a hiatus for a long time and haven't performed on stage in a while, it's understandable that people don't recognize them. Plus, they look totally different way back in the day (they're more handsome now tbh) so yeah.

Like 10~20 years ago in Korea, there were some singers so called "Singers people don't know their face." (얼굴없는가수). It was one of the strategies for getting more profit at that time. I think almost all the people my age know some of Soulstar's songs, but I am pretty sure only a few people (guess less than 0.1%?) know what the members look like.
