Chinese doesn't have letters, only symbols. Japanese does have letters, but their alphabetical system works differently from Latin. Korean is okay, their system works differently but not too different from Latin.

Cattail is useful against strong zombies but completely useless against a horde of zombies. Starfruit is a lot more cheaper, and you can spam those. Not only that, but it can attack from 5 directions, making it useful against both strong zombies and hordes of zombies. And since Detara is playing on Fog Survival *(Hard),* Starfruit is the most suitable plant for it.

Gatling, cob, and cattail don’t work because they’re in the Chinese version of pvz 2, and idk about doom shroom since they’re referenced in another plant’s power up?

Now you have to do it for the rest of the vowels lmao

I usually do pool based survival levels (including endless) with cat tails (two or four) winter melons, tall nuts, magnet shrooms, spike rock, twin sunflowers, one row, and a LOT of pumpkins. The pumpkins are for the miners and imp zombies(thrown by gargantuas). However, twice now on survival endless I’ve gotten either crippled or killed at the 24th flag. But obviously this is a challenge that can use precisely... three of the above plants.

Night gives no natural sun, forcing you to use an economy plant. Both sunflower and sunshroom have o in it, and you cannot win with the starting 50 sun. Therefore this challenge is impossible.

Challenge idea: survival day (hard). You can plant in one row either horizontally or vertically. Whenever you want to change rows, you have to delete all the plants in the current row. I doubt you will do this because it seems to be impossible.

Why are the ads ALWAYS perfectly timed with the doom shroom explosions?

Hey i have one can you do pass a level with only defensive plants and sunflowers and just a line of peashooters of the type you want in the pool

you can only hit zombies using fireballs (pea going through torchwood) or jalapenos (plants that don't harm zombies, for eg. hypno-shroom or magnet shroom can be used)

Fun fact: Detara said "starfruits were my bread and butter" we can bEAT the bread and butter

Beat survival day when each of your plant can only kill 3 zombies(include plants which can kill zombies instantly)

1:41 cattail doesn’t have any E’s so why not use them?

Considering the fact that cattail is the only plant in the game who can direct it's projectiles, I'd say that it would make the challenge easier. I mean, if I was detara, then I would've used them 100%. But then again, what's the fun in a challenge when you can make it easier.

People underrestimate how underwhelming cat tail is in the later waves. Cattail is good when zombie density is low hence why its good in minigames and adventure mode. But in Survival gamemodes, cattails are gonna barely do anything because the game is gonna spam hard zombies that counter it like bucket heads, screen doors, footballs and even coneheads. Starfruit shines more than cattail when there are more zombies because it is way cheaper, faster recharge and can be planted on land. I hope i cleared up why cattail sucks in survivals for most of the part.

Beat some surival levels(or all of survival) with only the 3 plants crazy Dave chooses in the second campaign

Challenge: Make a maze in survival (hard) using garlic. Aim is to make sure all zombies go towards the middle column.

@@cleo_0 that is in NO way related to this comment as that video has the plants upgrade but the comment says slow recharge rate meaning that he / her has not done slow recharge rates

Challenge: Use whatever plants you want but you can only use one plant at a time, for example you place a sunflower and then a peashooter, you can’t use sunflower anymore, and then you plant a wallnut and you can’t use peashooter anymore etc

Challenge suggestion: Beat survival day hard with most of your screen covered up except the first 3 columns, the lawnmowers, and the house. (you can plant on the covered screen)

Try doing this challenge on Day as well. I did it on mobile (so no hard mode) and had a pretty fun time completing the challenge. (I used imitater, which i'm pretty sure is not allowed, but i only used it to imitate puff shrooms. I also used no lawnmowers and had 475 sun left at the end of it, so i'm sure i didn't even need imitater.) Maybe this is possible on hard if imitater is allowed (imitating squash), but i'm not sure.

Challenge: Try to beat PvZ with only pult plants. (Ex: Cabbage-Pult, Kernel-Pult, and Melon-Pult. Ice Melon-Pult and sun-producing plants are allowed.)

*i always get anxious when a jack and a box zombie is in the fog*

My question is why didn’t you use cattail? They could have gotten ballon zombies and have great dps. But it’s your video and I respect you courage for taking on such a challenge

But can you beat a hard level with plants that don't have "o" in their name? Goodbye Sunflower, all the shrooms, peashooter, ice, and the beloved potato mine! Night levels would be impossible, but Roof might be doable

Win a game only using the first starting stage plants (except for evolutions like Gatling or twin sunflower, and you can use blowver only)

The cacti at the start are shooting to the beat

Challenge: beat any survival using spikeweed and spikerock. No insta plants (explosives or squash etc). You're allowed to use sun production plants and defensive plants like nuts and pumpkin.

Challenge idea: Beat survival day (hard) without letting any zombie to cross 3rd column, if it turns out to be too hard or to easy, try it with X th column
