I like to theorize the reason it started to get popular put of nowwhere is for the same reason the first film got popular out of nowhere a while ago-cus the gen z kids who grew up watching it are in collage now so they now relate to max Similier to how the millennials whom grew up on the first film now become parents so they relate to goofy Idk if it makes the most sense but the idea is just rlly sweet to me

I love the energy here, you didn’t even have to tell us that you love these goobers you can feel it in the way you talk about them. Probably one of my favorite things about hearing other people talk about their little worlds and ocs. Jealous that you managed to get a bunch of people involved with your art (light-hearted), honestly such a cool thing to share a work with people for years and have love for it only grow. looking forward to future videos about this, especially with their parents because I KNOW that video is going to be juicy on character lore.

Matt (I'm thinking his real name is Mattholomeu or Matthew) hated the stardom, wants to be his own person, and want to have real friends too. Mocha it's wonderful to see you again, even though you and PJ are no longer together, you're still Independent woman with full sass in there who's now dating Avery (I hope I spelled that right). I’ve tried fitting Roxanne into a main story in the au, or atleast a subplot but just couldn’t find a place to put her but i imagine she and max are still very good friends, and often joke about their brief middle school romance 2. The animaniacs are in the au! Theo had a brief relationship with Yakko and use to help him with Wakko and Dot, and they’ll show up in the story, but the main looney toons characters present are Buggs and daffy as they’re both retired from show business and are now teachers at a school where the tiny toons go (based on the new tiny toons show)

Bro I remember I used to watch this movie religiously on Netflix when it was on there when I was younger 😭😭😭 thank you for making this au!!!! 💕💕💗💖

😍I LOVE THIS SO MUCH!! As someone who was into the Goofy Movie fandom for a short time in my own college years, it makes me so flippin happy to see how much love & creativity you've put into your AU & your renderings of the characters. I'm also so glad this movie has a bit of a cult following now as I think the straight-to-video Disney sequels get an automatically bad rep just for existing, when you CAN find some good things in them. I myself had a fixation with Bradley cuz he was a lot of fun to draw in how crazy expressive he could be, but he's also very go-hard-or-go-home. He's like a posh version of Ace from POWERPUFF GIRLS, & I DO say that in part cuz they share a fantastic voice actor. (Jeff Bennett for the win.) I had an OC named Annie who was a grunge girl who sang lead in a band with her sisters, she was roommates with Miss Mocha (fans I interacted with called her Vicki), & Annie & Bradley had an enemies to lovers thing going, bridging the class divide between them. Said fixation & AU lasted about a month, but I don't regret any of it. It was a lot of fun while it lasted & it brings me so much joy that folks are still getting creative & inspired by this silly little movie.🥰 Also, I LOVE the idea of Bradley having a twin sister! ❤Next time I feel like drawing him, I wanna draw Lottie too.

YUSSS! I loved that movie when I was younger! (I should probably watch it again) I used to watch it over and over again!

It’s not a spoiler don’t worry! His middle name is Duck, Buggs and Daffy have a combined last name in this situation so Buggs also abbreviates the D but Daffy’s full name is Daffy B. Duck Matt’s mousketool is a keychain attached to his phone, though he painted it to make it look less obvious, and toodles is kinda his version of Siri

Mickey and Goofy are Ex-Friends, well- it’s a bit complicated. Matt and Max met eachother once when they were really small, so they don’t remember eachother now. But Minnie has a picture of the two of them as toddlers. Self awareness isn’t really Mickey’s strong suit. Mickey seems to think he and Goofy are still the bestest buddies despite not speaking in over 17 years. Goofy long accepted that Mickey’s moved out of his life. He tries to act like he’s not upset about it, even still defends him to Donald, who’s still actively resentful of Mickey for essentially abandoning them for the high-life the second he got a chance. But deep down Goofy is really upset about it, especially since Mickey left at a very vulnerable time in his life when he really needed him. But Goofy has a really bad habit of looking at things with rose colored glasses.

Its because when I was a child I'd bring all my plushies in the small office and watch an extremely goofy movie on youtube and make a cute little theater thing, it was my favorite thing to do as a child, and this movie was my favorite thing to watch with my stuffies

You know what so real, I feel like a big reason the second movie didn’t hit is because as cute as Maxanne was- I had a really hard time connecting to them, because unfortunately Roxanne herself doesn’t have much of a character beyond “classic Disney nice girl) and because I had such a hard time connecting to her, i had a harder time connecting with Max’s motivations to impress her

Are Huey, Dewey and Louie canon to this? I've always seen AUs where Goofy and Donald remain close friends and so Max and the triplets become close because the father figures help each other out!
