I’ve never seen anything like it too! It looks like it’s kinda beaded with pearls but it’s the whole lace macrame effect. Yes it was a shame the pearl LD was cancelled after paying the deposit but I’m so so happy I got this! Xx

But I didn’t check the time stamps of all the postings so I’m not sure if Dior has changed their glue used or solved this. I hope your beautiful tote doesn’t have that issue! I saw it and it was love at first sight but couldn’t bring myself to buy it and also cause it’s quite a lot for à non-leather bag though I fully appreciate and recognize the embroidery work ❤️

Hi lovely, I love Dior otherwise I wouldn't consistently purchase items from them or recommend my SA. However, in saying that there are some Dior items I don't personally feel are worth it in terms of some of their ready-to-wear and sometimes even their bags/shoes. I don't dress head to toe in designer and my personal style is that I love mixing designer, high street and vintage pieces together. Sorry if it came across like I'm under-valuing the brand but that is so far from the truth, I will and have bought Dior RTW but I just prefer the more classic styles like their iconic bar jackets or the cannage/ toile de jouy prints. Even the most avid Dior lover may not feel everything is "worth it" in Dior. I feel the same about Hermes, it's my favourite brand atm but some things I just wouldn't buy. Does that mean I'm under-valuing them if I mention similar alternatives in a Hermes haul because I have suggested something as an alternative for those people that may not feel it's worth it? Also, I get so many requests for more "affordable" alternatives to designer items. Not everyone is willing to spend $7000 or more on a jacket, so I thought these were great alternatives. I also don't do dedicated videos on designer dupes (not that there is anything wrong with dupes) but when it happens that the items I picked are the ones I had tried on and were considering, of course, I would share them. The Dior boxy jacket or bomber is not a new design and many fashion houses (not just designer ones) make very similar pieces too. I just happened to try the Dior ones on that's all. I hope that clarifies and that you understand where I'm coming from. Kindest, Mel x
