imma be honest, they upgraded spa day, but where is literally every other pack upgraded??? like stop putting out new stuff when you could rework what already exists

2 houses on 1 lot would work so much better if there was a better simoleon money system. Where each sim held their own simoleons

there's a mod called SNB that sort of implements this by allowing each sim to have a bank account.

Yes, like Late Night from The Sims 3! That was a celeb city pack with a celebrity neighbourhood and a big city with subways, food trucks and hotspot nightclub venues. I miss that pack so much and I’m glad we’re finally able to build apartments with the new pack like we could in The Sims 3!!

One of my favorite things to make are "commune" sorts of builds. Multi-family lots and everything, a garden for everyone, communal dining area, etc. It's so fun.

This build is perfect for legacy challenges. Especially when you are farther along, have more money, and want your grandparent sims on the same lot but different houses. Not to mention as you get more money you could turn them into two story or more houses to accommodate bigger families

Here in the Netherlands townhouses are very common. So your house is attached to two other houses. I wish this was somehow an option in the sims (functional in like actual gameplay) cause it would make the world feel way less American and it would be a really fun different way to build houses Edit: who knew past me was literally predicting the next upcoming "for rent" ep lmaoo

We have plenty of townhouses here in the USA too, so I have no idea why EA doesn’t include them in the sims 4.

i’d honestly love a game/stuff pack that’s JUST a world of a bunch of small and close together lots. no build required, no cas needed jsut tiny lots

If anyone else wants to use that pergola AND have it be undercover - I’ve experimented a lot with this, and you can perfectly fit a really low plain glass roof (the full glass one) exactly over this pergola with no eaves, and use a matching wood on the small triangle walls and it looks good and is almost seamless! It basically is like the glass isn’t there, and then it counts as under cover for game purposes!

Honestly love the idea of multiple houses in the lot to use with the roommates function! That would be so easy to do!

i did this on the exact same lot... but i used debug houses and one actual house so it looked close together but less annoying to play

I'm thinking that the "neighborly" expansion pack might add this sort of functionality or even duplexes and townhouses - which would honestly be a dream 😍

I think I remember hearing at the time that the sims team was worried about having to many lots because the game wouldn't no longer run well on lowe end computers. This was before they put out that update specifically for people with lower end computers. After that thet didn't seem worried about lots anymore

You built the perfect lot for my twin sims 👏 One is an athlete so the left house would be perfect for him with the home gym and the other is an artist so the detached part in the back of the right house would be a perfect art studio (they’ve actually just aged up into teens but I already have their entire life planned out oops 🤪)

I love that Kayla is coming out of her comfort zone & trying to build differently, it's refreshing to see what she comes up with when she's not doubting herself and holding back, plus she's excited about the different changes & enjoying herself, I love to see it🥰very proud❤❤❤

I am loving these creative ideas like the two houses on one lot and the cruise ship.❤️ cannot wait for more

That lot wants to be apartments. There are two types of apartment buildings that are super common in Los Angeles. One of them is called a dingbat and the other is called a garden Court or cottage Court. I hope they put apartments in the next pack because that lot needs to be something that is quintessentially LA

I very much might use this build for Dustin Broke, Johnny Zest, Dirk Dreamer, and Lilith Pleasant... I'll tweak some of the furnishing to better fit my headcanons for Dustin (who gained fame as a vlogger in high school) but this concept is really great. And the houses are really cute! I just have to overcome my Tiny Home addiction. Hahahaha 😆

It's so funny how little details can be so satisfying in builds. Like, I love the equipment closet so much! It just adds this bit of character and realism to the house.

In the base game debug there are more vibrant trash cans and they do function.

I have done a similar build on this lot following the driveway (there is a stone floor pattern that make it work better). I use the 2nd house for roommates who pay rent (sometimes I do look my door from them).

This build would actually be so cool as a rental property type of vibe... Like a little rental town house.

I feel like it gives (especially the back garden) Sims free play vibes and I'm here for it!

I'd love to see a Mexican style home! I've never seen anyone build something like that in the sims and I think it'd just be beautiful!!

oh wow! this build is just in time for my legacy storyline! I was going to put two families in these houses (they're twins, a sister, who's going to be married soon and have kids and her brother who is a gamer and/or comedian) I think these builds fit their aesthetics really well! the girl was supposed to work from home and I didn't know which job I should give her. now I think she's going to be a cooking youtuber! and she also does yoga and loves baking! It's perfect for my sims😭

I actually LOVE this house and am gonna download it tonight for my legacy occult sim (gen 1, but gen 4 of his own fam) to move into with his alien toddler!! This is the vibe I wanted -- suburban but not. I'm gonna use the empty nextdoor home for his at home-science lab since that's his career and it'll blend into the neighborhood instead of being in a basement

you should take the opportunity and use this connected lots thing and make half of a duplex on one lot and the other half on the other lot and make them look like 1 entire build from the outside. then you can ligit have 2 different families in one house :)

I just started watching you about a week ago and I have been loving your videos! I have watched at least 15 in the last week and I have started playing the sims 4 more! I have had the game fora few years but I can never find good already built houses! I looked at your account and found this plot but I did it in a different world. I have been doing the empty house and I am just finishing for now I’m about to start playing with my two sims and it’s the perfect size! I love your builds so much and it’s so easy to find the over all layout on the videos!

I so relate to your realization that you didn't put a door to the bedroom- I made a rental lot a couple days ago, spent hours decorating each of the 4 units, was so proud of it.... and there was *no door leading into the second lot*! it took me... an embarrassing amount of legitimate gameplay to realize this

When I had a family on that lot, I made an abandoned lot with no house on the right, an unoccupied house on the left, and my family’s house in the middle. Funny how this would be a great place for townhouses if it were in a DIFFERENT neighborhood.

We’ve always been including double housing bc ea makes huge lots, expansion pack that lets us would b great 😌 but probably glitchy

pretty cool especially because now we have the for-rent pack it could be like you bought this lot and you build another house on your property and rent it out.

During one of my legacy challenges, I did exactly that. Gen 4 lived on this exact lot in one of the three same looking tiny houses I've built there and I used the roommate system to have neighbours in the other two houses.

I think I enjoyed the how long until Kayla realizes the room doesn't have a door mini-game the best. Lol

You should make some sort of trailer park or something! That would be fun!

I've had various sims on this lot for a while. I hit up debug for a spanish style house and plants n stuff to fill half the lot, put in a debug garage on the back of the lot and chainlinkfenced it. Then I parked paparazzi vans and limos back there. They have to come from somewhere, right? In my world, that's where they garage their vans and the limo co and the paparazzi work together to annoy the celebs. The house my sim lives in on is about 30x20, house is spanish style, has a circular driveway and a big fence =p I figure I had room to grow if I wanted to do a legacy.

I really like this house... I wouldn't mind seeing you furnish the other one eventually.

So sorry for the loss of your family pet. What a great company Logitech is, to donate in their name, proud to be using the mouse and keyboard. 😊 I built a huge building on this lot. It was in my head formerly an older art deco hotel that had been converted into apartments. It has a pool and 6 one bedroom units. I thought it would be a place that struggling actors or folks who couldn't afford home ownership could live, and the landlords would be a semi retired couple living there too. I made Sims for all the apartments, but I never have gotten around to playing them. 😄
