    For anyone else playing this, always chunk align immersive engineering multiblocks. They can corrupt your world if they are only partially loaded. This is probably the issue you had, Hobble. I learned it the hard way in divine journey 2, luckily I had aroma backups running so I didn't lose much. F3+G is a modded players best friend.

  • @GirixK

    @GirixK

    Ай бұрын

    In most cases, chunk alignment is a waste of time, but yes, Immersive Engineering is an exception, since it's known to corrupt if partially unloaded However, an alternative practice to get into is loading everything, it's just as safe, and it's a smarter choice, too Ever had a partially loaded ae2 network? That is some of the laggiest bs in modded minecraft, so by loading your whole base, you're killiing 3 birds with one stone (Prevents corruption, prevents lag, and your base works constantly) as opposed to just corruption prevention

    For anyone who wants to play this pack, some advice from when I played it: -JourneyMap waypoints are overpowered. You can place them anywhere in the same dimension you're in. I never used waypoints during my playthrough. -Don't craft oil or soul sand. You can find oil wells naturally and use fluid miners to make an infinite supply, and soul sand and soul soil can be mined from those obsidian meteors, and you can find virtually infinite soul soil on the Moon.

    Tbh while your logistics are decent visually it's shit functionally and lags the game even after redoing it with lategame stuff Whenever you have drawers use them as contrasted logistics hub for import and export of items. It is the best logistical mod ever, reasons being: >trims are cheapest pipes ever with 0 lag and instant transport >controller slaves are both import and export bus at the same time, they just need external filtering, again they are instant >a single controller can handle everything, so no junky system merges ever >you can limit any production, unless you use inworld item drops (like dropping items from funnel to funnel in create, belt them instead to limit that one), reducing the lag from constantly running machinery p.s. I love buildcraft's pipes cose they are OG and look cool, but if we talk efficiency and lag reduction - gotta use drawers

However due to my work and studies running at the same time I don't have that much free time anymore. So it is great to see a compact video containing the completion of a whole modpack in ~1hour, containing all the fun and interesting parts of the grind. I personally think that you are a great inspiration for a lot of people that follow your steps and grind as much as you do to get the satisfaction of a huge modpack completion. Thank you for your patience and your resilience in creating those amazing videos. Keep up the good work and never forget to rest, as such huge modpacks can really be frustrating and tiring sometimes.

    I remember watching a video like a year ago about how for some reason passive mobs tend towards upward movement I don't remember why but that's probably why horses were climbing your tree

    Idk about the pack, but usually, the pedestals and crafting core is kind of a library for packmakers to add ritual-like recipes (cough cough enchanting apparatus cough cough)

    If you had a plan to play Greg, suggest start with playing star technology, which is a gtnh and create sky block pack, some things are simple but the multi-blocks are quite a challenge, playing it would be so cool so please try if you have the time to Greg 🙏

    You should give the modpack "Questing Mayhem" a try. It's a 1.7.10 modpack with 3 questbooks that requires a ton of automation and resource production

    Gotta ask the hardcore modded players, what do you think are the biggest pros and cons of AE2 vs. RS? Especially in end game where auto crafting becomes a big part of packs like these.

    10:00 -> It's because Minecraft mobs pathfinding prefers going up for some reason, so the horses are pathfinding to the top of the tree miner. Also: Coal blocks (Charcoal and coke too) smelt 10x more items than just coal.
