I built the hydraulic Lesu RC Wheeled Skid Steer! - a brief overview
Ойын-сауық
In this video I give a brief overview of the skid steer by lesu. I talk about a few gripes and what it was like to build.
I filled the entire build process so if you’d like to see that let me know in the comments!

Yep, build series would be great!
Yes please on a build series! I have one of these on the way and am a little intimidated!

It’s a heck of a build. I’m going to get some posted. I lost a bunch of early footage but I have most of the build.
Well built, that looks a whole lot of fun for the back yard 👍🏻
That is a very nice Skid Steer, great overview.
Love it! A build series would be cool!
Great built Steve
Dang boss, that is what I need! I will fix the runway at Chollas RC. Nice Stevo.

Looks just like my skid steer. So cool get forks and put weights on the back like on a bobcat

Hey there, happy to make a video. I’m not able to make it for a couple weeks but if you email me I can try and do a little video. Spetrotto@gmail.com
Cuando le bas a poner una cuchara de las normales, y cuando la bas a meter a trabajar en la tierra
Were do you have scaled water decals custom made from? Great work this is a fun model. On trade I got a fresh built kit model. I had to take it all down to bare metal and rebuild better. Your running 3s on stock escs? Im running a 1300 3s right now on aftermarket escs eliminated interior went w/ personal lighting 5mm for the headlights taillights red and amber.. Ive got room for bigger battery. Hows your motors holding up on 3s? I think one of mine might give me issues down road. Great breakdown and yes these rigs can be one step forward two steps back to get it perfect they way you want it. Im thinking about building another one or the track version now.

I've not yet completed this project as I too found it VERY hard to find a vendor that can do it. Even looking at buying a printer that can do it myself :)
Hi, great video! Are there any modifications on it or is it the stock version?

This is 100% as Lesu intended it. I built it from the kit.
Have you checked out the lyxrc bobcat? It's amazing!! I'd love to see this and the L Y X RC..

I have seen it. Never driven one! Assuming it’s similar. But I’d love to review one :)
How did you get the left transmitter stick to center , I’m planning on building a huina loader and would like to use my Dx 9

Take the radio apart and then you just screw in a screw on the gimbal until the spring engages. I suppose I can do a video on that at some point :)

@@StevesRC Thanks Steve nice it’s an easy adjustment 👍
Thinking of either building this or buying it built. What do you recommend? I’ve never built an RC but I’m very handy anyway.

I would honestly have it built if I had to do it over…
Have you considered routing the battery into the cab and just have it sitting visible in the cab on the seat just to get better battery life?

I have. Probably going to build a custom 18650 pack and move the escs to make it work.
I would like to buy one down the line
do a build video long one with everything in it

I have most of the footage. I'll try and put it together in my spare time.
I really love all the diggers from Lesu but prices are just over my head shoot

Unfortunately not much in the hydraulic side of the hobby is affordable haha
How much did this cost by chance?
@StevesRC

At the time I bought it I think I had it delivered as a kit with pretty much everything in it for 1700
Hy what brand is lipo ?

This was an old Thunderpower pack that I had laying around. I need to find a new way to power it.
Is there a Bind-n-Drive option?

Hahha I think you could ask them to build it. Very pricy to do that.

@@StevesRC I have seen other models that are rtr version in hydraulic (not lesu) One Utuber has had issues with a model of that sort being a bit to snappy on the proportional wheel speed. With a few changes of electronics I think he's got it worked out. Im interested in building this model to add to my fleet of hydraulics. Nice overview Steve. Are you building up more of rc hydraulics since you've taken the time and initiative to build this unit?

@@thatsmyrc Sorry I missed this comment. I do plan on building more! Just haven't had the time lately. I have no issues with proportional wheel speed.

@@StevesRC no problem I totally understand. I’m wondering how the new JD models skid steer compares too the lesu models. I personally do like the wheeled version more so.

@@thatsmyrc I hear the lesu models are smaller but they do look nice. Just not sure if it’s worth the energy knowing what this one took to put together. But half the fun for me is the build.
