Each of the variants has its own pro's and con's. Now I just need to figure out what will work best for me as well. XD Think the first thing I might work on however is a auto offloading contraption.

Hey Grain, Never late bud! Appreciate you popping in. That was a fun build, but changed it up a bit in a following episode to look more like the Local Mineshafts. Would love to see one of these on the ChaosCraft Server.

Iirc, using the wrench on doors allow you to lock them unless they receive a power signal, or are told to by the contraption. Might be handy.

how hard would it be to make the tunnel bore place a torch/light source every 27 blocks ? and maybe only keep X amount of blocks in its storage and throw out the rest? only thing i hate about tunnel bores is sorting through all the chests

I have never tried. I know Impulse made a contraption like this that could place torches at intervals. So I might look into that.

Slight chage to your mining rig Move the deployer to be just infront of your minecart and maybe one more deplyer infront of that one. you shouldn't have to push it to start after doing that.

Hey Mayhem, That will solve the instant problem with the rails. Also looking into adding some more Deployers to build a tunnel awhile I mine, to stop water and lava from hitting me. Now I just need to solve the Torch placing problem. Suggestions? Thank you for the feedback. Appreciate it.

@@Deosil25 I've not been able to figure out a good solution for torches yet. Everything automatically places it every block when I only want every seventh or eighth. I have made a rig that does make a tunnel for me though. From ground level, it's 7x7 deployers with drills in the center 5x5 in front of them. Works great.

@@MayhemRex Going to attempt the Tunnel maker first, and then see if I can figure out the torch system, as its really a pain at the moment. Small tunnels are still easy to keep lit, but the bigger ones are the real problem.

@Deosil25 just add a seat to the miner behind the minecart furnace and ride it and manually place torches and you should be able to add fuel to the furnace as well without getting off.

Hey Carl, Yeah I notice all these old elevators are these wooden structures and look so a like. So when I initially did the structure in Wood on my Creative world, I was so stressed it looked too much like his. So tried to change it up a bit. Would you recommend maybe altering it a bit more? Appreciate you feedback on this matter. Really do want it to be different.

Hey AlphaWolf, So I just run my game with 8Gigs Ram allocated and on not too big render Distance. For modded I try and stay between 16 - 22 Chunks. Those are the two big things. As for my PC. The specs are as follow: CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8-Core Processor Motherboard: TUF GAMING X570-PLUS (AM4) RAM: 32.0GB Dual-Channel DDR4 @ 1330MHz GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti 12GB - Palit Storage: NVMe - 1T - 7500MB Read/Write Drive (x2) OS: Windows 11 Pro Think the thing that really helps me as well is the Use of the NVMe Storage Drive that allows for faster Read/Write speeds. Hope this answers all the question's.

So I am currently playing with the Terralith Modpack/datapack. So with Terralith you have stone specific Biomes/caves. So you have Biomes that are majority Granite, Diorite or even other variants. So for example the biome right next to mine is all made out of granite, and the closest Diorite cave is 1k plus blocks away.

Hey Joshgabris, so I googled old Mineshaft Elevators and then used those as my reference and built on that reference. Using Girders, Deepslate and the obvious Flywheels that do work best. If you think I should change it up some more, please let me know. I am not against suggestion.

The thing with this MOD Farm is the fact that it works with Spawners that require the player to be there. So there is no work around.
