Ikr the refueling and the cannon part were literally mods, the devs just recreated the professional version of those mods and put it in the game as an update. Or the cockpits, well, people were making kinda-sorta working cockpits by hard work waay before the advanced cockpits got implemented. And here we are. They really do care a lot about their playerbase, and that's awesome. That's why the game is where it is. Okay, there are some minor long-lived bugs (like the nosecone drag thing or the complete irrecoverability of a flatspin), but aside from that, SP is simply amazing.

@@hunormagyar1843 your missing some things, for example, wpn78 made those mods and put them in the actual game because he works on it now, so although they do listen to the player base, those mods where from popular members of the team

Even though this is true and there are good updates the game still feels like it's missing a lot

simple planes actually has a big map, i dont know how big it is but i tried flying a own made airliner that goes like upto 500 mph then i left it on autopilot and after a few minutes i discovered a island and after that i discover one again, i think this game's map is bigger than you think

You should fly around the world on a stream and it would be like a 24hour stream were anyone can just join in whenever and leave. You could leave it on autopoilt.

The game has changed since 2016, so much nostalgia to play nowdays and see how it has changed Also there is quite alot of islands. There is Wright island (the one you started on) Krakabola Snowstone Maywar The Kraken The Brown Pearl and Sky Park City if you wanna know how to get there just search up simpleplanes map

There is also a not-so-secret island near Wright island. Its called "Wright Islands North Runway". It uses the old textures

When you build a plane, you only need to build one side of it as you can mirror the aircraft. You just go to where you would go to create a new plane and there’s a button called “mirror aircraft”.

You can also pull out the "rotate part". There are buttons right by the rotate buttons. One is for mirror right-left, left-right, and one is to mirror that specific part to the other side of the aircraft. It's quicker and more convenient imo

Simpleplanes is actually very much more realistic than displayed in this video its just that those builds are unrealistic and dont obey the laws of physics because the control systems are sus. Btw no hate to swiss :D

SimplePlanes can be as realistic as you’d like it to be. Depends on how much effort you put into making the plane perform like it’s real counterpart

Dig into fuselage parts some more so then you can make some cooler planes, the fuselage blocks also have buoyancy and fuel capabilities so then you don’t have to put all the individual fuel cubes

Just when I bought SimplePlanes this video came up

The reason the plane was always going the wrong way is because when you right click your mouse is used as a joystick so for that to not happen you need to disable it in settings

I just tried it yesterday and it was great but the models were garbage to fly in. Some people built their cockpits wrong where I would be 5 feet away from the cockpit instruments or I would be too close to them
