I know you will never see this and from my profile picture I am younger but I feel like I can give you some pc tip for next time the 990 pro did not need to be installed in the adapter under the CPU socket and above the slot where the graphics card goes is we're the ssd or in your case 990 pro also the socket cover for the CPU did not need to be removed until the CPU was installed and pro tip is to place the motherboard on the motherboard box then case to remove the risk of damage and remove the blue tabe that was under the ssd or 990 pro but still good job for first time and I know you don't know me but honestly I don't know you personally so god bless your soul and don't let nobody bring you down

watched your first setup video 7years ago, now back after 7 years and were both in college is crazy
love the production quality and transitiona, been watching you for like 6 years and the improvement is nuts
just wanted to say, ive just watched your 10 year setup progression video and now watching this. ive never came across your channel before until now but you were on my recommended page, i genuinely think your videos are of great quality and at the end of the setup progress video you mentioned about not being sure on what you will do with the channel but i genuinely believe you set a high quality standard in your videos and think that you have alot of space to grow and people who are coming across your videos are going to want more, i think youd be a great tech review youtuber and even be able to dable in reviewing and building pcs if you could find the time to put out weekly or every second week videos, hope this comment reaches you, good luck and stick at the grind Edit: if you stick at it i think ive found a youtuber whos videos id look forward to coming out and watching
Let's go vonix. I've been waiting for this video and I'm so happy for you.
Congrats on the new PC! Still remember finding your channel from your pc build from more than a year ago.
subbing rn after watching ur set up journey video and the 100k video. Wish you the best of luck man and i’ll be there for your 200k stream

Love how he took off the plastic first because if the motherboard was installed and he pulled the plastic while its in the case it can create static electricity and can damage the motherboard.
bro u deserve so much subs, ur a nice chill youtuber that i like to watch. keep it up!
I really hope u will be posting more often love ur videos!
Your memory doesn’t have to go into a memory expansion card and can go right on the motherboard. There is a little heatsink under the cpu that can be unscrewed and placed right under it.

Your videos really inspire me to build my own PC and become a content creator. I'm discovered your channel today, but I already watched like four hours of your videos. Keep up the good work never give up you'll be on top one day! 💯
Congrats..! i would have chosen a 4090 over 4080 by limiting to 1TB storage since we can upgrade it in the future. also i heard asus rog strix cards performs best in terms of thermals and performance when it comes to GPU..
I love your vid you have inspired me and I’m going to start making lots of videos and best of luck in college keep up the good work vonix G.O.A.T
the struggle u had was real and this build was sick and worth it Great vid
The build looks awesome. One thing I would recommend is instead of a fan at 15:45 , I would put a small LCD screen there instead so you can display either a GIF or temps of your build. Overall, great vid and great build.

Not to sound rude but that's the exact point of the LCD screen on the cooler just wish he would've gone with a different one since there are better quality AIO's with LCD's that are cheaper

Wow ❤ glad to see you still upload
I bought the Corsair Premium Build Kit back in August, which I got on sale for $3,299.99. $3,572.24 with tax. I loved the building experience so much. I'm running 4k, 144hz, at ultra settings, and have had no problems. I did make a few tweaks here and there with my build. I did purchase a Thermalright bracket for my CPU and purchased 3 additional RGB fans to install on the side of the Corsair 5000D Airflow case. I also changed out the original RTX 4090 FE power adapter for a Corsair 600-watt 16-pin power cable and added a Corsair GPU anti-sag bracket.

beautiful build! Love the cyberpunk vibes it gives. I also recently built a PC on my channel and went for all-black and it turned out super nice. Thanks for the great content ! W video :)
Really nice video Vonix! :)
it looks awesome but a few tips set the bottom fans as intake by flipping them around as if it is all exhaust it will get dusty very quick hope it helps

yo im looking to build a pc very close to these specs so this was so helpful
I agree man, nice job building the pc. But as a pc enthusiast, I wouldn't have recommended this 5k build. You could have just waited till now and got the 4080b super, with the i9. But the main issue from my perspective is that the aesthetics aren't that good. It would have been looking 100x better with the white lian li 011 dynamic and the power supply should also have been white. Other than that, the ram and the motherboard are fine, but the fans and the strimmer cables could have been white and with some better rgb. I know I am focusing on white, but it just looks 100X better. Nice build man and keep IMPROVING! Good luck for your future builds!
so true with many good points. a good system is a great investment if you have the know how and judging by how much we have seen recently how anything is possible pretty much with the right setup. its all about how much time you have and how creative you choose to be. We can literally do anything now and it doesnt take a whole lot. Ive grown to be obsessed with gaming/office setups and pc building and everything that comes with it....its so addictive and entertaining......very very expensive hobby though! dude dont feel bad about the pc not coming out exactly how you hoped.....parts are constantly coming out and its how they get you as an enthusiast. it took me months and months of planning and buying parts and waiting to come up wtih the new build i have now and i personally know how confusing and perfect everything has to be. so many compatibility issues can arise.. i got extra parts like my 240 aio rog cooler that i bought first originally months ago and then i changed my entire ideas and now have a lian li 360....i chose lian li fans but had originally gotten several corsair fans....i got extra braided wires...idk it can be useful to have backup parts, or maybe sell them, or maybe even send some of the parts back you dont like if you still have that ability. i think its better to have the setup you want and not feel that regret. dude i spent like 10 hours straight building my new pc and its also in the lian li d evo xl and ive barely gone back to it since i built it a week or two ago becuase i was like intimidated by it or something. it was annoying becuase i wanted to wait for new keyboard and mouse to come in so i could continue using my current pc until i have my new one running and completely setup and built the way i want it...its a really exhausting process
Thank you for making this video Vonix! You really inspired me to start saving for my dream set-up and I’m hoping my dropshipping business will do well so I can afford it. Love you and your videos! ❤😊

hint: you only got exhaust fans, rotate the buttom fans and you would get better temps! :)
GGs on 100k
great video, I would Say Little cable management would help :D
the two 1st thing he put in his basket cost the price of my current pc😂😂nice video WW
Please tell me you put thermal paste on before you put on the cpu cooler
Yo sick pc but why you put the ssd on a m.2 adapter there is a m.2 slot in your motherboard
did you remove the heat sync sticker for the ssd???!!!
you need to take of the plastic from thermal pad on ssd or you will have big issues with ssd heating
@vonix
5 ай бұрын
I took it off, I just forgot to include that in the video but i appreciate it
*If you still have time left on your return window for most parts Id do that. Return the cooler, Fans, and whatever else cost more than retail. You could have gotten a newer NZXT AIO with other better parts and still be under 5K*
if you buil anotherpc remember to put the mother board on the bx and the blue ssd heatsink off
For the future. Install fans to AIO rad first, then install to chassis. Good looking rig though
Hey congrats make sure you take the plastic off the ssd in closure the turquoise sticky tape

Yes please Vonix when you dont do it it can be bad for yor ssd
thermal paste? or is it preinstalled
I may be wrong but did you forget to peel off the adhesive before putting in the m.2 storage? 11:23
bro you forgot to remove the blue stickers on the thermal pads where you put the SSD both above and below the shroud. Please remove those asap to avoid any thermal throttling on your memory
vonix uploaded lets go
BRO I LEGIT LOVE RIGHT NEXT TO SNHU!!! wait do you live in southern nh???? 😅
you shouldve gotten multiple ssds like a sata 2 to where u will put everything u wanna store except games, the nvme for games only and an ssd for windows and etc
Fire 🔥
Dont know if someone commented ur M2 install...u didnt remove those plastic covers on the "cooling pads"?
Damn when did u hit 100k?😢 I must've missed the shorts stuff. Congrats tho
Nice video -Nice build. Enjoy your PC. Should get a lot of use out of that PSU - SeaSonic has been one of the few brands I have used for the last 20+ years. Never a single problem with any of my SeaSonic branded PSU's in that time. Our machines are very close to being each other's counterpart ; one AMD mine ; one Intel yours but very similar level of parts Enjoy your very nice system :)
There's not a single intake fan 💀
@KayakKingdom
4 ай бұрын
Some fans nowadays are reversible blade. So you don't have to look at the rear frame of the fan shroud. So they might look set up for exhaust but might be set up for intake. He didn't take the plastic off either side of the heat tape on the SSD heatsink tho....

@@PosedezzzBro don't know anything about PC building 😂
Pretty cool build, I would have went with 2 separate SSD's though instead of just 1 4TB. Keeps windows separate from everything else, not that it'd get bogged down running this high end though. Kudos for slapping 4 sticks of RAM in there also, almost every super high end build I see they only utilize 2 RAM slots, for whatever reason lol. It's like if you're already spending 5k+, what's another 120 bucks for 2 more sticks lmao.
@Edubz2026

because amd cpus opperate better with 2 sticks of ram
Vonix. Is. Back. ❤️
it doesn’t seem like anyone else is pointing this out but you should flip the bottom and side fans around. they’re all set to exhaust which means there’s no fans bringing in air at all which will suffocate the pc
awesome !!!
just a tip don't let any cables go over the led lighting since it contrasts and looks bad
pls everyone, make this vid go viral... it deserves it
another day, another vonix video
I think you pluged the hdmi cable in the motherboard (you need to plug in the hdmi cable in the gpu)
Great PC, Great Job building BUT: -maybe remove the blue thermalpadsticker for the ssd (ssds can overheat and break) -look where the fans are blowing, you might run into some cooling problems with every fan pushing air out -for better speed on editing videos, your ssd should have been sitting directly on the motherboard than in a DIMM 2.0 adapter -and buy corsair fans in big packs to get a corsair rgb controler for free with the fans Overall, good build, cpu and gpu combo is great for games like gta (not so efficient for other games but hey it works :D) What i would change: only buying from ONE rgb-parts company so you dont have to use more then 2 softwares to control rgb and fan speed and stuff, plus i would use (for comfort) corsairs new corsair link system for easy cable management
i think your supposed to take of the blue plastic under the ssd
congrats
You donr have to put the nvme in. The adaptor
The legend is still around, thanks for showing me wallpaper engine lol
yayyyyyyyyyy vonixxxxxxxxxxx💻💻💻💻
Great video but please flip the bottom fans to intake
Noooo… leave cover on until cpu is in… protect the pins and have fun launching the cover upon closing lid 🤣 Nice build
Epik mouse pad!
What the song name in the intro?
W pc build dude.
damn bro 10/10
Great build but it pained me to see the motherboard just sitting on the table
you forgot the plastic on the thermal pad of ssd thing
Nice built that gpu actually looked queite small in the pc case .
HOLY SHIT THAT THING LOOKS FIREEEE 🔥🔥🔥

THANKS VEENIT
btw u forgot to peel the plastic from the thermal pad
11:10 that device is a expansion card and you don't need it read the manual my guy there are m.2 slots under the heatsinks on the motherboard 😢😢😢 install the ssd on the up most slot for faster speeds and not using the expansion card will make it cleaner

I was literally strolling down through these comments just to find somebody to say this.
vonix i have a suggestion instead of those corsair fans you couldve gotten the li lan li fans
You should have chosen ryzen 7 7800X3D it costs the same with that cpu but gets you way better fps in any game
otherwise good but i gotta say, quite ironic getting a lga 1700 socket for future proofing when the socket is dead (meaning no more made or only a few more to be made)
i was scared about the ram. I thought he wasnt finna use double channeling at first. 😭😭😭😭
Remember me Vonix? You commented on one of my videos where I upgraded my desk. Btw Awesome Pc
14:28 you can do it in the cam software 😅
He is the new The verge
just telling you that you didnt have to put the ssd in the little thing it can go into the mother board just that you have to unscrew somethings realviling the ssd m.2 slot.
